On Sunday, November 17 2019, I did a little walk around of the construction progress, sorry about the wind noise. Basically the PVC pipes has been buried under fresh concrete, pavement, and landscaping. The concrete pads for transformers are ready. Power hookup to overhead power lines not yet in place, and no actual Superchargers are not on site yet.

I wonder how may V3 Superchargers are up and running in the US, beside the first one in Las Vegas.

Nice, thank you, a lot of construction! Seems to clearly show that there are no V3 Superchargers east of the Mississippi that are actually in operation today. Guessing a backlog of chargers to be made...

I noticed that even though the "Open" category at left, locations like Nashville TN or Santa Rosa CA are actually still under construction.

I spoke to management at Dunkin' Donuts on the phone a few days ago to inquire around timing. They told us that the equipment would be "delivered" on December 9th and they expect it operational by Christmas.

I was in the area gain yesterday, Dec 12 2019, so I stopped by. The 750 KVA transformer is the only significant progress noticed. The new telephone pole isn't wired to the street's lines yet, and no Superchargers are installed.

Wow, 750kVA is quite small for this site. I hope they have two of those.

Interesting and also disappointing. My hope for V3 was that it would be set up for future models like Cybertruck which could charge at the higher rates for longer even if we can’t with M3 now. It’s most certainly a cost/benefit thing based on the current battery technology, the average site utilization and the transformer costs.

Stopped by yesterday, Sunday Dec 22, no progress. The Dunkin manager said the general manager is still hoping it will be opened by the end of this year.

Hey guys. I work about 1 minute away from this location and the dunkin located there is a afternoon coffee stop for me ( I work in IT and need all the coffee!!:> ) .. Anyway I will stop by today and check the status but the last time i visited this location was last week and no real movement. Sadly this location is not even on Tesla's updates supercharger map. Wallingford CT is still listed as coming soon but i did not see anything for meriden.

I've never seen those Tesla maps to be accurate. Madison is being added and no indication that one is coming soon.

Madison had it's V3 stalls delivered this week, so it leads me to believe that Meriden might've gotten there's or they are soon to be there.

It seems Tesla is short on supply of the new V3 hardware, and were focused on getting a huge chunk of Canada going all at once with V3 first, see:
