Not unless it's already under construction and nobody noticed.I'll be visiting there for Xmas. Any chance it will be operational by then?
I'd be interested to know more details about these southern SC sites. We're planning on driving to Los Lunas over Christmas and can depend on the SCs along the way up to Albuquerque but after that, there's nothing! We're staying at Isleta and they don't have destination charging. There are some chargers on plugshare.com but they're slow.
Ideas?

We'll certainly try that and see how it goes. Not sure how much driving between isleta and relatives homes there will be but we'll use 110V if we're desperate. We're also planning a side trip to ABQ to visit a friend while we're there so might try and time it for when we need to fill up.The Supercharger is in Albuquerque. Los Lunas is only 15 miles from Albuquerque. Charge before you head into Los Lunas and you should have plenty of charge even for running around. Isleta is only about 10 to 12 miles from the Supercharger.
Maybe I'm missing something though.
Politics? Isn't NM one of the states that limits Tesla stores? Could be that making it easy to get to and Supercharge in the state capital would help with the visibility of Tesla among lawmakers.
Just speculating...
UPDATE: Tesla got back to me, insists the Fashion Outlet (a real wasteland imho) IS the site and that construction crews have already begun work. Either the crews are fibbing to Tesla HQ or Tesla is in error. There is ZERO activity at Fashion Outlet. Will swing by again next week for another recon mission.
Well, there you have it. The Santa Fe Supercharger is now under construction -- FOR REAL!
