Something is missing…

If this is the pad @ImScotty was referring to as being empty, this is only awaiting a switchgear cabinet. The left side is power out to the SC cabinets and any lights (small conduit) while the right side will be power in from the transformer. Transformer,Re could go to the right of this pad.
Not the only pad missing. The switchgear is missing along with the transformer. There's a pad between the cabinets and the previously existing transformer separate from the switchgear spot.

I stopped by last night. The switchgear is on site but the transformer is still missing. They've roped off the chargers in the meantime. There's still a MASSIVE hole in the ground that seems to be where they are drawing power from the mains. So that could be why they failed.

Your earlier pictures show a pad with a plywood sheet that says hole on it that looks very much like a transformer pad. Is that where this massive hole is? If not, that is odd that they would place a pad above where the underground power should come up yet they have another hole somewhere else.

Nope, the transformer pad is next to this large hole with conduit laying inside of it. I can go back up there for another shot. Everything else seems in place aside from this strange hole and the lack of transformer.

Interesting, it passed electrical for new underground service on 9/25. Hard to have service without a transformer as far as I understand it. Any chance it’s an underground transformer and the hole is just for a meter box?

Unfortunately this supercharger is still a LONG way off. No transformer, even lifted the HOLE board and exposed a bunch of un-terminated cables. Idk who approved the project as complete but they need to get their eyes checked.

Interesting. Maybe they just require the proper cabling to be run to the transformer site since that is handled on the utility side and not part of the Tesla permit. However, most other sites don’t get marked as omelets until the transformer is in.
