Supercharger - Tustin, CA - Flight Way (LIVE 20 Dec 2022, 7 V3 stalls)

I was in the Flight center, just off of Barranca Pkwy - found this SC under construction, on Airship Avenue

Seemed strange since all the trenches and pedestal bases (which are in place) are on the other side of the road, which does not have parking.
Not sure how many pedestals there will be as quite a few were obscured by fencing

That's interesting considering they have a year old Supercharger basically around the corner from there. They probably want to draw more business to the failing Mess Hall that's there.

It seems like a strange location as it is basically on the far side from the Mess hall - really that is more of a service road at that location. It is directly outside the building housing the Syspro offices.

The only thing I could think of is that they wanted them way off on their own, which makes sense because during the work week, there are lots of people around the main lots. Still...very interesting place for have a supercharger. So now Tustin is getting this one, Red Hill & Walnut, AND Newport & Irvine Blvd.

I've placed a cone on supercharge.info approximately where your picture shows. Can you provide a more accurate location for the charging pedestals?

Drove by last night on the way to another Supercharger. They're utilizing the parking spaces along the building that's labeled Nogin. I saw the actual construction in the spaces.

here is the location - circled it in red ( I was at a late night party in that building and it was right outside)

The location is what seems so weird - the back of the top parking lot, or the overflow lot to the west would be better - or inside the parking structure, which already has a load of slow chargers. It really is on Airship Avenue, not Flight Way

The above location is confirmed. Not only that I'm surprised by the current progress on this job site especially compared to the first picture on this thread.

Also, it seems like a very long run from the power cabinets to the end of the line.

Fence is gone. I didn't take photos as I figured I'd wait to see the striping. But, as best I could tell, that's all that remains. Of course, looks are often deceiving.

Dropped by today. Striping has been d I’llne but no signage. There seems to be some work going on with the cabinets as I saw a coil or two of wire.

Signage is up, but looks like we're waiting on the transformer. I saw what I thought was the transformer over by the posts but that could be for a preexisting purpose over next to a parking structure.

I stopped by today as well and looks like there's no transformer. I see a nice concrete pad that looks like it would be for one.

Other than that it just needs the tire stoppers assuming they're still installing those.

This SC site is not showing on Tesla’s SC network map, strange.
