A Supercharger may be coming to a travel center near Wikieup Arizona. In a Mohave County document from last year, planning documents show the possibility of installing 14 "Tesla charging stations" on the site located along US 93. I haven't seen any permits on Mohave County's Accela yet so I cannot confirm whether or not the project has gone through.

This would be awesome for the PHX-Vegas drive and hopefully would take some of the pressure off of Kingman. It's probably the only settlement between Wickenburg and Kingman with the proper electrical supply for a supercharger, and it splits the gap pretty well so it definitely makes sense.
Speaking from personal experience, when driving from PHX to Vegas, Wickenburg feels like too early of a stop, but if you don't stop there, you are basically forced to stop at the troubled Kingman site. PHX to White Hills might be doable with a bigger battery car charged to 100% but it's a stretch for sure. So this will prevent that dilemma. Same deal going from Vegas to PHX. Vegas to Wickenburg is too far for most Teslas to make comfortably so you are forced to stop in Kingman. Now you will be able to stop at Wikieup instead!

OMG this would be huge...and especailly needed for anyone towing anything from PHX to Vegas...well, at least till the CyberTruck comes out with its massive range...but who wants to wait for that?
This V3 in Wikieup would effectively make Phx to Vegas an easy one stop road trip in either direction. Even to/from the SE Valley (Gilbert/East Mesa), this new site would be a perfect midpoint, and allow for optimal V3 charging speeds with a lower SOC at arrival.

In addition to helping the PHX - Vegas traffic, a supercharger in Wikieup would hopefully take some of the load off of the Kingman charger for I-40 travelers.

I made the Phx to Vegas roundtrip about 6 weeks ago and when passing through Wikieup at 50 mph, I saw zero signs of any type of construction activity near this proposed site.

Another Phx to Vegas roundtrip last week, and nothing has changed. Nothing to see that indicates a supercharger is in the works. I will look again on Labor Day weekend.....

Rolled through Wikieup twice this weekend and no sight of any supercharger construction activity yet. Hoping they get it opened prior to next trip in June.
Nothing new on the Supercharger front in Wikieup. Drove through this past weekend and I didn't see anything. Hopefully something happens soon...Wickenburg was a disaster on Sunday.

I wonder if there’s a non-Tesla issue here (e.g. the local utility cannot yet support the electrical draw on Tesla’s proposed site) as it seems like the logical place to put in a SC to offer relief to Wickenburg.
