Elon plans on sending people to Mars by 2025 via space-x. I think smp2 will tie solar city and tesla to that mission - perhaps a path that will have self-driving vehicles powered by solar do the labor of building an infrastructure for us to inhabit.

There is some interesting overlap, it seems many of the things he works on can be made useful for Mars. His rocket tech can be used to land on mars. Electric cars can drive on Mars. New ergonomic space suits would be handy for working on Mars. Solar panels and grid storage can be used to provide power on Mars. A fleet of network satellites could provide widespread communication on Mars. He is literally working on nearly everything that would be needed to colonize Mars. I wonder how much of this is intentional?
I'm not saying this is his secret sole motivation. There are many other reasons to do the things he is doing. But I have to wonder if making his tech useful on other planets is in the planning mix.

Its true he probably needs more sleep but many people myself included hate sleep because it is a time waster and you lose a lot of productivity, plus not everyone needs a lot of sleep.

Doubt its that important or epic to stay up for, probably some physics idea drawn on a napkin with a bit of ketchup on it that he'll photograph and upload.
The sooner he moves to the UK the better. Or even Eastern Europe then he would have already announced it.

Disclose future TA (Tesla Automotive) product lines, headlined by PU trucks & more SUVs.
* Outline the path to a line of $25K vehicles.
* Post the goal of producing 10 million vehicles/year by 2025.

Unheard of manufacturing production capabilities at unmatched levels of excellence.

In a decade he has led companies that have done more for out collective future than anyone on the planet. Never meets his impossible deadlines but I think that can be forgiven. Although I can't wait who else here launched and landed a rocket this week.
