Now you get a better chance to judge the design:
I simply fell in love after seeing this footage
Great video. Made waiting in line for 7 hours worth it to get an early reservation.
Seeing in real life daylight is much more compelling.
Yes, after seeing press shots on the TM site, as well as this video, the design has definitely grown on me. I think Tesla has a winner, and I can only assume that it will improve, like the S, as production grows nearer.
I love that it's not a giant boat like the model S. It's smaller in comparison than I thought it would be.
I did notice the HUGE amount of sun getting to the back seat. I hope the glass roof is much more tinted than this or else we will have to carry a bottle of sun tan lotion in the car.
I tint all my cars. Wonder if my tint shop will charge extra for this rear window!
It's early morning or late afternoon sun coming through the front windshield. Note the very long shadow behind the Model S.
The Smart cars have a full glass roof as an option. I had one and I actually loved it. Yes it needs to be tinted quite a bit, but the view and feel it gives you is awesome.
I had always visualized a signature red with charcoal fan blade rims ....but after seeing this car in silver...in the real world like this....it looks so sharp. Thanks for the video !!!!
Backing to waiting.
I think the front bumper is growing on me...
100% agree. I even told people that was my only concern and that it felt unfinished...I really feel differently about it already.
Think this is what it feels like to be falling in love.
A lot smaller than an S, and beautiful in Silver!
Looks like a baby Model S - the more affordable version. Strangely, it didn't look this good at the unveiling for some reason. Much more excited to get mine after seeing this video!
Oh well... another 2 years of waiting... bummer
Wow. Thanks for posting. Really attractive in this video. More than the numbers, more than the unveiling, that vid makes me want to buy more stock. Seems so much more real on the street.
Imagine that in 4 years time, California is going to be overrun with these. Buh-bye Audi and BMW 3-5's. I only reserved 1, for my wife figuring I can "summon" one from somewhere in my neighborhood, Uber-style, by 2019.
Very much love it. It's surpassed my expectations all around, for sure!
It looks really good, so small behind the S though. It's going to be a huge success for Tesla.
And the main competitors to that stunning thing are the Bolt and Leaf. Heh.
(And I currently own a Leaf)
