This could well be a "squirt out as many deliveries as possible before the end of the year" kind of thing. So Bay Area deliveries get priority. Seems like a logical move for Tesla, I got no problem with that.

Hmm, so it looks like you can hold your place for AWD, but no mention of holding for Performance models.

Guess I will click hold my place anyway once I get my invite and just hope a P Model becomes reality soon.

I got my email at 6:14 am this morning

I was in Paris on the 31st and was able to make a reservation at 2am PST in the store. Thus had to be one of the first.

I am local to the factory and own a roadster and an X.
