Lots of companies roll out software/firmware updates in waves. This allows them to pause the rollout if serious issues are encountered - before those issues affect all users. But Tesla's rollouts do feel like they happen slower than others.

Waves is understandable, but being 3 update versions behind, missing and having broken features on a brand new 2021 90k car... sounds pretty unacceptable.

P.S. I mean real Ed25519 512-bit signature, not a number that goes after the version in an app.

I got this update this morning. No Disney+ for us here in Australia either. I think it has something to do with the fact that the mobile data provider Tesla use for connectivity in Australia has a deal with Netflix to provide free bandwidth over there network for them but doesn’t have the same deal with Disney+ so it’s not included.

I got 2021.24.3 this morning. All seems good with it, with all expected features except for Disney+ app not being installed in Australia. None of us Aussies who have the new update got that but got everything else.

A LOT of people (not just you) seem to be confusing firmware "2021.24.X.X" with firmware "2021.12.24.X".

You dont have the new firmware talked about in this thread yet. The biggest problem (in my opinion anyway) is the website electrek, which a lot of times rushes to be "first" without properly vetting things they say sometimes. They said "rolling out" as if it was rolling out when they posted it, because they are trying to drive clicks to their website, not caring about timeliness or even accuracy at some points.

I wont go to that website because they do this, because it ends up doing exactly what is seen in this thread, where everyone is like "Its announced, where is it???????????????????" as if tesla itself had announced something.

On the other hand it was released, they didn’t just make it up.

Teslafi release notes say "certain regions". So not US only, but also not worldwide so some regions are excluded.

Yes, in The Netherlands a Disney+ subscription is available, but the Tesla option is not activated.

Yes. Here in Australia Disney+ is available to subscribe to. I can watch it on anything including logging in to the web interface through the browser on my Tesla. So the decision to not have the app available I think is a carrier bandwidth one.

Use the abettertheater.com hack... that enables Disney+ full screen... Just follow the instruction

What "latest" firmware update did you get? Easiest place to find it is in the app on your phone - it's at the bottom.
