Interestingly, I had to use my iPhone as a hotspot to complete the download, because my model 3 would not connect to my home wifi access point - kept throwing and DCHP error.

I think the 8/8a at the top means its currently supplying 8 of the maximum 8 amps. The 11kmh suggests this as well

My phone finally updated data usage.
Looks like it was close to 900Mb download for the .32.21 to 36.5.5 upgrade.

Upgrades from .36 variants should be less as Tesla only updates the new code sections using a difference program.

I agree but the 16A at the bottom suggests that I could set it to 16, 15, 14A, etc

My car defaults to 16a (greyed out) and then sorts itself to 32 as soon as the plug is inserted. Yours doesnt seem to be getting more than 8 though regardless?

I'm not game to touch the current changing button in case it does start drawing 16A.

If I don't touch the button it stays at 8A.

I doubt it would go over 8 seeing that shows as the maximum. You could try 9 or 10amp without much worry to see as the powerpoint is rated for that anyway and the charger is good for 32.

Interesting also, mine doesn’t show the charge km/hr next to the voltage like yours does. Weird

Most likely because you show charge in terms of % SOC. I have mine set to range.

I haven't had any phantom braking events in a while - but I haven't driven long distance in a much longer while - like most of us in Oz I suspect. I never had much of a phantom braking problem in and around Sydney - probably because there's always other cars in front that factor into the braking equation. Lane keeping across intersections is regularly (and still) getting upset when lines go away. The latest update did reset my ALC preferences though - so perhaps something has changed.

The phantom braking is a funny one. A work colleague and myself picked up our M3 SR+ on the same day. He bought FSD, I didn’t. He complained a lot about phantom braking and mentioned it can even brake from shadows. I’ve had nothing like what he mentioned let alone at any shadows.
Cyclists or pedestrians are nightmarish in mine for phantom braking but I keep my foot on the accelerator to avoid it and all is good. Aside from above I rarely get any phantom braking events either.

No one outside of Beta should notice any difference on AP if they have purchased FSD.

Could be you got a car with no radar and they have radar.

@RobDickinson If you opted into the frequent updates option you're running beta code (often feeling alpha-ish). Don't think anyone in this forum hasn't opted in.

Everyone opts in to that so it becomes meaningless. And its not beta at all its just early access which means you are more likely to catch some issues.

OK I guess could be follow distance or something. FSD shouldnt make a difference because they should be using the same code and hardware
