The transition to EVs reminds me a lot of the transition from mainframe computers to PCs. The legacy automakers are the mainframe computer manufacturers who thought PCs were a fad. Maybe one or two might manage to survive like IBM has, but the majority are going the way of companies like DEC that weren't able to adapt.

Like some of the early PC's that I had ?

When they started selling them already assembled I knew the fun was over.

Well there are clearly just no shares available. I guess that billionaire bought up all the float after all.

This almost has to keep getting uglier, right? Unless all this run up from the last two weeks is entirely attributable to MM's aggressively covering, I would guess we move higher after the call.

"Selling the news" was for a time when Tesla's progress and outlook was purely put into words. Words open to interpretation. We're working with numbers now folks.

So I take my lunch of chili beans and corn chips, and look what happens. $871! Y'all are on your own. Fix yourself a damn quesadilla or something.
Making German soft pretzels from scratch. Maybe I’ll also make some banana muffins with homemade buttercream icing. Then maybe I’ll start getting interest payments owed.

It’s official. Tesla has allowed access to the supercharge network by other EV’s.

Just wanted to check in and give a friendly reminder for everyone to FLEX on their spouses saying how smart you are today for having the vision in in buying and holding $TSLA during the drops earlier this year!

Rain... Technicals, short term peaks and bragging is/are fun rides. I feel we have such a long way to go, building out production, sadly watching legacy OEMs crash (we need everybody), and very bumpy waters with regulations, FSD backlashes, hate, etc. We are years away from stability/dominance. If anything its confirmation to buy more. I will celebrate when we make a serious emission reduction progress and hit $3,000.

Anyone have a price target they’re selling at. I’m thinking $1,000
Keep in mind capital gains tax rates, especially the considerable difference between the rates for long-term (> 1 yr) and short-term gains. In either case, selling an entire large position in a single calendar year can be quite costly taxwise.

No, but I do believe big round numbers represent resistance for TSLA. So 900 and 1000 would both give some resistance. My guess is we blow through 900 sometime between now and February since we already pounded on that ceiling once before.
