I think Tesla may well produce more cars than Mercedes or BMW in 2022.So Tesla may end 2022 at a run rate > Mercedes or BMW? Mercedes production in 2020 2.16M, BMW 2.25M according to wikipedia.
Exactly! Rob and spreadsheets for a beautiful Sunday morning.POV: (Me, tapping my feet, waiting for Rob to start his webcast...)
We're going to see this every year for the next several years now that Tesla is in the same range as other global OEMs, especially once reduced ICE sales come in to the picture. So Tesla may end 2022 at a run rate > Mercedes or BMW? Mercedes production in 2020 2.16M, BMW 2.25M according to wikipedia.
You don't need to click on the link....I'm here to tell you that it is an amazing piece of journalism /sLora's article is up on CNBC
Tesla delivered 936,172 electric vehicles in 2021, with the fourth-quarter setting a new record
Wall Street is expecting 1.3M deliveries in 2022. Tesla is now at a 1.23M run rate and Shanghai is still expanding, so this means neither Austin or Berlin will produce any cars in 2022.
WOAH.Numbers are out.

@The Accountant right now!Suffice to say we all expect @The Accountant to spend his Sunday delivering us updated Q4 earnings estimates.
Lora's article is up on CNBC
Tesla delivered 936,172 electric vehicles in 2021, with the fourth-quarter setting a new record
Tesla makes Model 3 and Model Y vehicles at its factory in Shanghai and in Fremont, California, but only produces the Model X and Y in Fremont.
Can we raise money to buy Lora a box of tequila? She can open a bottle at each quarter endYou could feel how painful that article was for Lora to write if you read between the sentences. Additionally, she was trying so hard to get through it without her brain exploding she made stupid beginner mistakes as if she doesn't even the know the difference between S&Y:
When she completed her assignment, she filed a civil suit against her employer for threatening to fire her if she refused to cover the P&D story for Q4. The suit claims this is "cruel and unusual punishment" for "someone of her beliefs".
