The Baillie Gifford guys are over rated, wait for BlackRock. I watched all of their interviews in the past. Shorts will hate BlackRock.

The fact that they couldn't see thru the noise of CT glass breaking, elon smoking weed, etc just makes me think they don't care to do their jobs properly.

Wall St through their Media minions decided their best bet was to 'play the man' going way back to the 1st NY Times hit job on Elon in Summer 2018.

It didn't work. They should have played the ball. Now Elon's spiking that ball in their end zone.

i'm fine with paying them a pittance to end this stupid, pointless "war" (it's a business ... why make unnecessary enemies?), especially if it has the potential side effect of improving the demand for Tesla vehicles. But, I know I'm in the minority and the arguments have already been presented by both sides.

To end the war Tesla would have to pay as much as the other car manufacturers--or likely as much as all the others put together.

But the ASP of those Toyota cars is probably 1/3 to 1/2 of Tesla's ASP. So the difference is not that big, especially if you look forward a few more years.

Right, Toyota's 2019 revenue was 272G$, so roughly 10 times the annualized 2019Q4 Tesla revenue.

PS. The difference being Tesla's annual growth of 50%...

What happened to stocks splitting to make them more affordable? Also helps psychological aspect (10:1 split puts the stock price at $9/share and these gains of $150+ are only $1.50). Is that not the cool trend anymore?

My options that I bought hours before Tesla gave their Q4 P&D report are now 30-baggers.

While others have done much better, I am unused to that...

I bet many shorts covered. But the DOLLARS shorted probably went up not down today. 9:30am tomorrow is gonna suck for TSLABBQ.
