Love the blue. Also Titanium is oddly attractive to me. It seems to work very well and goes with Model S being a tank (kinda army "sand" colour feel to it)! maybe I've been playing to much Battlefield 4.

These are renderings, of course, and we all know from our current colors that what the apps and the design studio online show is not exactly what the colors look like in the flesh.

But, the blue looks very promising; probably close to the similar shade of blue that BMW offers, atleast on the M3.

Titanium may get us close to the "naked" aluminum look that a lot of folks had asked for before.

Paul, good on you on the BF4 front; hope you check out Hardline :)

Thanks for digging into the app resources.

I love the Ocean Blue. Just for reference, can you also post what the app thinks the current blue looks like?

Sure can.

As you can see, the wheels are on the body image of the new colors and not the old. I could only speculate as to why. If handled in code, the car would always appear to have turbine wheels, like the climate view. If not, the configured wheels would overlay (with transparency between spokes) the turbine wheels, which would effectively be a bug.

Here's another set of images.

I'm not posting everything since there are many images containing the paint color, like open and closed states for each door. The ones I'm posting are the ones I find most interesting.

Titanium will be a very interesting choice if it's anything like Honda's "Urban Titanium" paint option, which is a light gray with brown tones. In some lighting conditions there's even a hint of purple.

Both these new colors look great!

Here's something more relevant to the paint shop. I came across this post:
It seems Tesla have three new colors in the pipeline for this year. This is from the service catalogue (credit goes to Cookie Monster on the Norwegian EV-forums).

Obsidian Black (Metallic Black)
Ocean Blue (Metallic blue)
Titanium (Dark Silver Metallic)

I recognized that the paint code is the same one that goes in the URL for the Design Studio preview images and confirmed that they work.

Simply replace xxxx in the URL with the code in lower-case.
Code:

http://my.teslamotors.com/sites/default/files/configurator/MODELS_20150310/1440/STUD_SIDE/ms_stud_side_xxxx.png

http://my.teslamotors.com/sites/default/files/configurator/MODELS_20150310/1440/STUD_SEAT/ms_stud_seat_xxxx.png

For example, here's the first one for Titanium: http://my.teslamotors.com/sites/def...20150310/1440/STUD_3QTR/ms_stud_3qtr_ppti.png

By saving the Design Studio page (complete, including files) and changing the image source at line 252 to the respective one above, I was able to get the new colors to show in the previewer as intended. FYI, the page needs to be saved and modified for each angle you want to see.

After doing that, this is what it looks like for Titanium:

Awesome that you figured that out.

Have to say Titanium looks pretty nice. I might have gotten that over gray if it had been available.

I used the same wizardry as above to make the blue one:

Wow. I'm really loving these two colour a lot! If only Moroccan Blue were available I would loose my mind...
