@jprimav2 I am glad to hear your car is near! My timeline is almost exactly the same: paid 8/13, on 8/14 delivery date was set for 8/28 but yesterday my IDA rescheduled for 9/5. No sign of my VIN on the United Road site and am super anxious about dealing with extended delays. Fingers crossed my VIN pops up in the United Road site next week.

Thanks! Hoping for the best for you and eveyrone else. I'm just worried about being overly optimistic just because the car is apparenly "here". IDA didn't know if they had done the quality check yet so who knows when I'll actually get it...

I haven't been on the forum for a few days but thank you to whoever figured out/posted about the United Road tracking.

Here's my timeline minus the contract mess:

8/13 Paid for car
8/14 IDA confirms sets delivery for 8/31
8/24 (Today) Tracked VIN on United Road and the car arrived in Dallas on 8/21. No idea where the car started from but it got here in 7 days. Called IDA and she wanted to move delivery to tomorrow but I don't have the FedEx packag witht the temporary tags yet so she's supposed to be calling me back.

Maybe not useful info to anyone but the truck tracking feature helped me a lot and gave me some piece of mind (for now) that the car is at least in Dallas and will probably allow me to move up delivery a few days.

So....I tracked mine on United Road and didn't see it. Not sure what this means? Do you enter the whole VIN?

Wow! That's even longer than I've been waiting. I've been fully paid for 41 days.
Has any one of you that have been waiting longer than a week past your initial delivery date tried this route?

"If you have a concern or dispute, please send a written notice describing it and your desired resolution to [email protected]"

I would be curious to see if they find your car?

You are probably right. However, for those of us delayed, some of us more than once, it is really hard to stomach. I mean we forked over a lot money for our vehicles it would be nice if we felt like we were getting honest answers regarding their locations. Yes, I was hoping someone who actually picked up a vehicle in Austin could share their VIN so we could see how many shipments that location is getting each week.

Go to the Google Sheets spreadsheet that Troy established and find some actual VINs that were delivered to Austin a month ago and plug them into the search function until you get a hit for Pond Springs. Then you can that hit to subscribe. That is how I signed up for Dallas.

I just got my FedEx registration/title paperwork. Yay for that. But someone at Tesla has a real fun sense of humor.

"Please do not date any form". No kidding.

Cool Tesla logo on the sticky note, though.

I use the “sign here” sticky note to cover the interior camera! I don’t believe the owners manual when they say “not used”!

So after being told that my delivery specialist would call me today to confirm tomorrow's appointment, guess what? Right. No call. So I have no confirmation after calling probably 3 times this week and being told the same thing - the delivery specialist will call (and nothing, no email, no call, no text). My account page still shows the appointment and VIN. So I guess I'll just show up at Pond Springs with my paperwork and lowered expectations.

Part of the fun of this whole thing used to be the excitement about getting close to delivery. That is gone, sadly. I'll let you all know what happens.

I had the DC arrange me a Lyft ride, I figured I would not get excited about delivery until the car showed up to take me to the NHouston DC!

I predict the frustration of your waiting will be replaced with the joy of discovering how great you car is.....I just don’t know when, but I pray it is soon!

Today (day 6) I ‘discovered’ that the car can auto park backing into a spot at H-E-B! Not just parallel park! Amazing!
