by tesla? Can’t speak to brake service but we had cabin filters changed for £53.76 all in. Done on our driveway. Seemed reasonable good value to me.
It was only something like £15 more to have Tesla Mobile Service fit mine when I had it done. With my bad back and aversion to being a contortionist I opted to pay. But for someone more fit than me I can understand doing it yourself.I've ordered the filters myself from Telsa for £37.99, waiting for the outside temp to warm up a bit before fitting them!
Hmm wonder if they'll quote me £15 to fit the ones I bought from Tesla, I agree thats a good price!t was only something like £15 more to have Tesla Mobile Service fit mine when I had it done. …and the Ranger that fitted mine got terrible back pain laying under the steering wheel, trying to fit all the clips back.booked the filter replacement.
after this will see if need to do brakes...
58 gbp for mobile service. decent value I would say.. but filter itself is like 29 gbp (2 pcs)
so even if I do it myself - would not be saving too much
This was on our Model 3 and done in June 2023. Not sure why the price would be different but the invoice shows £12.50 per filter (£25.00 total) and £19.80 for labour (0.12 hours @ £165/hr) plus VAT for a total of £53.76. It would undoubtedly have taken me far longer and been brutal on my back.Hmm wonder if they'll quote me £15 to fit the ones I bought from Tesla, I agree thats a good price!
They saw you coming. I had that done, the tyres rotated and the wipers replaced for £160Meanwhile, a year 2 filter change and the annually recommended brake lubrication; £271.92

Taking all the brake pads out and lubing the pins etc. is what increases the cost over your work. They saw you coming.
I paid under £13 for both filters combined (blue print ones) and fitted myself.so even if I do it myself - would not be saving too much
I thought that work was only recommended in certain climates (not the UK)Taking all the brake pads out and lubing the pins etc. is what increases the cost over your work.
In countries that use salt on the roads in winter - that includes the UK in my mind. Although when I did mine they could have gone another year or two without any issue, but I don't do many miles.I thought that work was only recommended in certain climates (not the UK)
It might be worth seeking a local independent to do this. Quite some time ago someone on here recommended Blackboots in Chesham for alignment. We were curious about our M3P and had it checked. Very professional and knowledgeable and they confirmed alignment was good and refused to charge us! Not saying it's an option for you but giving an example. I wasn't even aware that Tesla does the alignment themselves so they may be farming it out anyway.Own 4 years old M3 LR.
MOT warned about excessive inner tyre wear. Tesla heathrow quoted £350 for 4 wheel alignment
£260 for brake lublication
This is steep.
Same services in sunny but expensive california 150$ wheel alignment.
Rip off Britain?!!!
