@Imach: looking great, congrats!

@celter: agree with you, acc is another good to have feature. But none of them is a deal breaker.

Anyone knows any good quick fix for front licence plate?

Check out this video.
Then also consider zip ties as an alternative to the bolts.

Very few times in life we get to experience that surpasses excessively high expectations....This one has been that for certain! GO TESLA!

Nice! Congrats.
Portland metro area group is growing!

Took delivery at the factory today after a couple years of waiting for red!! P85, 21" grey wheels, solid roof, tech package, carbon fiber interior, black leather, air suspension, parcel shelf.

12/17/12 - Finalized
4/3/13 - Delivery button
4/4/13 - Delivery window of 4/19-5/3
4/15/13 - VIN shows up in iPhone app
4/16/13 - DS confirms car will complete production by 4/19
4/22/13 - DS calls to setup pickup appointment
4/25/13 - Picked up at factory!

The stuff the internet taught me to worry about vs real outcome (I did not go bonkers and bring "the spreadsheet", just remembered to check the big stuff from memory):

- The headliner is Alcantara
- The fog lights are gone, but I'm happier to have the car than to really care about this minor change
- Carbon fiber spoiler was installed (new matte carbon version - was told they have a new supplier)
- Parcel shelf was installed
- Front AND rear floor mats included
- P85 badging on the car
- No HPWC (told it will be shipped)
- Car was fully charged on delivery
- 12V battery has not died and left me stranded
- Door handles are the new design (1/2" pull to open after unlocking vs the original subtle switch)
- 4.2 software installed at delivery and appears fine (no door lock/unlock/walk-away issues)
- Mirrors auto-tilt fine in reverse
- Mobile charging connector charging fine at home on 14-50 plug pulling 40amps

Absolutely loving the car so far!!!

Congrats on the pickup. The grey wheels look really sharp with the red. Don't really need any more flashiness with that color.

Did you get delivered with 4.2 or did you mean 4.4? Curious as I got 4.4 on my delivery earlier this week.

I used the skene design as did a number of other folks on the forums. Installation was super quick and easy can be removed quickly if you want the clean look.

Skene Design

Some have just ziptied the plate to the front.

Edit: You guy's cars are beautiful! I really wanted the red but I had no patience to wait like you all did. The wait has obviously paid off.

@ylyubarsky did you listen to the new service announcement!? You should be able to move to a new color, or any other option quite easily now! This is fantastic isn't it?
You still have to accept whatever they decide will be a trade in price.
What's a couple dollars versus trading it in and ordering exactly what you want. Think about it Elon said the loaners will sell for 1% less per month of use and $1 per mile. Figure 1000 miles in a month on a loaner. That gives you $2000 off on a $100,000 car unless you wait 3 months for it to save $6000. Oh yeah now it will only take one month to have exactly what you want built so back to a whole $2000 savings. Not worth if in my opinion. Besides you know they will probably knock your trade in down at least 20%. So it will probably cost you $20,000 to save $2000 and get whatever configuration they have as a loaner.
One big benefit is knowing the exact car you will get instead of a surprise change.

I was under the impression that your trade in would be worth about the same, mile for mile (as long as it's still in perfect condition.) But I don't know...

A happy Friday surely it is indeed.

I received a call from my delivery specialist with my VIN, 9389, as well as with a delivery date of 05/08/2013, but I won't be able to pick it up until 05/10/2013 as I shall be traveling. It is quite the thrill to know my car has entered production and cannot wait to try out the performance plus package as I drive back from the factory.

That's awesome. I'm just two numbers up from you. VIN#9391. I couldn't resist and called the hotline yesterday which prompted Jenn to send me an e-mail with my VIN and request for DL and proof of insurance. I also got an e-mail from Peter that the car is in "end of line inspections". No word on the delivery date to the LA SC.

@Doug: Are you picking up from the factory?

I also almost called as I couldn't wait to be behind the wheel after seeing all these lovely reds on here. But now, I am counting the days patiently...
