There's quite a few sections of the road where I can't see very much if high beams are off & there's not another car, which makes me nervous about what the car can actually see.

I mean, I don't want to sound santicmonious but that's a pretty good reason for not using Autopilot on that kind of road.

It is a road that autopilot is designed for (70mph dual carriageway..) the problem is more *me* feeling nervous about the cars abilities when it decides not to light it up correctly. It does handle it fine throughout though.

Yeah - agreed. In situations where the light isn’t good, or say the road markings are less easy to make out because of rain, then for me they are times where additional assistance provided by the driver assistance features are most beneficial.

The issue is that previously if you came across a poorly lit bit of road whilst using AP you could just flick on full beam, whereas with 24.6 you have to hope the car does it, turn off AP, of drive along holding the stalk back.

Repeater cam placement is a godsend.
Profiles now implemented
Traffic along route graphics

Will have to check out high beam at some point to see what the fuss is about.

I have that and the last time I was locked outside of the car until it had finished installing, so much for leaving on time.

It may well download, but you'll get the option to install or not. Annoying nag screen every time you get in the car, but easily dismissed.

The queue will only get longer as they introduce more and more hardware variations.

People like to make the (inaccurate IMO) comparison with Apple, but with Apple they release their latest software at the same time to all supported devices rather than the seemingly random lottery Tesla have

I suspect more bug fixes, I doubt there will be any changes to the release notes. Looks like 2022.28 will be the next significant release where they have updated the Tesla Theatre Mode. 2022.28 news

I guess so, but assume the MY will also need the latest software version also, which is unlikely on delivery.
