Installed it earlier today. Not much to it bar a map and some filters.

Tried to login, was directed to the Octopus login page with the apps browser, entered credentials but wasn't directed back to the app automatically. Closed the browser but profile hadn't been linked in the app, so doesn’t look like I can use it just yet.

Have submitted feedback.

Same issue with the app as well can't get it to go back to the app after the logon, so gave up at that point.

Account sign-in isn't supported yet. From the beta email…

What features do you have planned next?
We’re currently working to bring the sign-up and sign-in journeys inside the app, plus tidying up some existing features. Past that we’ve a host of plans and ideas - such as the ability to stop and start any charger within the app - but we’d also love your feedback to help us understand what’s most important to you.

Whats the news on that? Presumably its still in beta as its not available in iOS app store? Or maybe its just not compatible with my iPhone 6 - I couldn't download the beta because TestFlight needed a version of iOS my phone doesn't support. I hope that is not the case with the final version.

I was wondering what kind of old phone you had then found they'd limited testflight to ios 13... wow.. the our customers are gonna really love that when it hits - we have enough trouble getting them to ios 8!

I'm on Android - app version 9.0 updated on 25 May.

The app worked with my iPhone 11 on iOS 14.5.1, now 14.6.

Money on GRIDSERVE Electric Highway being added to EJN…?

Roaming partnership to be announced but haven’t said who yet. Either them or ZapPay. Are OctopusEnergy involved elsewhere in the GRIDSERVE business?

It would be nice.. Octopus would be mad if they weren't at least talking, but the way the ceo hedged about the idea of 3rd parties makes me think nothing is coming soon.

Chargepoint could also be a contender.
My hunch is that Gridserve are more likely to favour UK based Octopus EJ than US based Chargepoint, especially as Octopus are not averse to releasing their API and encourage integration into their systems.

Duh! You have to go to the "Electric Juice" website to create an account and they will send you a Juice card...
Once that is done you can login to the app using your Octopus login details...

Depressingly low number of charging sites offered at 50kW and up.
There's a higher number of 6/7kW charging sites around but wanting 30p/kWh plus waiting time? - double (or more than) for a 'home charge' rate
Seems home charging and Tesla Supercharging en-route boost is still the way to go.
