Just Apparel and Lifestyle items in the store. Glad Arete took care of you. It will be interesting to know how long it takes Tesla to get someone out to service your car.
Here’s the main problems I plan to call Tesla (if I can find the right number):
1 no internet connection
2 I have to open and close driver door to release charge cable
3 intermittent wipers is a joke ( I understand this is a universal problem
4 I have to push the passenger door open immmediiately after pushing the release button or the door is locked in unlatched position
5 I thought the lane change wouldn’t work but realized that it doesn’t see the other lane outer strip on 104 but works perfectly on 590
6 most important issue: the horn doesnt work on the left side of steering wheel.

There are other revelations for all of us newbies. The manual is not updated for changes in operation. Eg to turn on auto high beams you push the stalk forward to have the gray icon pop up.

Re: manual outdated. 15 min after posting the above, I got invite for updates which came over LTE in less than 1 hr. (Manual says I needed WiFiobviiusly not true. ).

So my only real issue is the horn not working.

Picked up my model 3 from Mt. Kisco yesterday (Nov. 25). The experience was a mix of excitement, waiting, annoyance, and a lot of driving. The unfortunate employees at the Kisco location are up to their necks in deliveries. But in all honesty, Paying $50-$150k for cars should not be this difficult, and one would think would come with better execution.

It seems that deliveries, and the Mt. Kisco location are known to be an issue at Tesla, but does anyone have any idea how this process can be improved or who I could talk to about it? If Tesla continues to run their delivery logistics this way, it will definitely put their future in jeopardy.

Congrats and welcome! I agree. It's an absolute nightmare there! If you want, I can pass the Delivery Manager's email.

Clarence, NY here... i have my appointment for delivery @ Mt Kisco on Friday. Im trading in my car so no rental/train option for me. Wish I would have. Excited to get my Model 3! Hoping for the best, but expecting a crazy time. I am sure they are flooded with deliveries!

Holy crap! That'll be quite a drive! Hope you have EAP! Make sure you take your time and look over the car, ask any questions and not feel rushed. If you haven't asked and are in no rush to get back, see if they will allow you to stay over night at a hotel before or after you pickup your car (might be too late now). They have been known to comp your stay up to $200. Good luck!

Did you get your car? I just picked up from Mt Kisco on Tuesday and drove back to Buffalo. I was very let down by the delivery experience as a whole but the excitement of the car kinda made it a wash.

Flying in from Buffalo I arrived at 8am with a 10am scheduled delivery. They started my paperwork at 930 and I didn't get over to the delivery bays until almost noon! They kept telling me they were waiting on plates. They took my check and made me sign before even seeing the vehicle. In addition I had some minor gripes about a few things, hood panel gap, some small scratches and they made no attempt to document or resolve. I had a 9 hour drive home with charging so I just left and wrote an email to corporate still waiting on a reply...

Kinda salty as well they knew I was driving back to Buffalo and the car didn't have a full charge. I stopped in Binghamton and again in Victor to supercharge.

I'm looking for a Tesla club or just an EV club in the Buffalo area if you know of one. I'm also contemplating starting one since it seems there are a few of us in the WNY area.

Best of luck!!

Tesla would have to empower a leader in Mt. Kisco that is supported so that they can all be held accountable for their actions. My first hand observations were that no individual would take any responsibility or keep to their word. And I've never noticed any type of leadership or anyone that would stop in to assist employees or customers at that location. It's the worst customer facing business I've ever seen.

I did and make it safely back to buffalo at 2:00am! Thank goodness for the EAP.

I too was a little underwhelmed with the delivery process. My appointment was for 4pm, got there around 2:30, had a heck of a time finding parking, luckily on my third trip around a spot opened up at the meters right outside. They did provide me $2 in quarters. finally got to signing papers at 3:30 (early, so that was good) .. but then it took forever to get over to the delivery warehouse. Upon getting there, my car wasnt there yet. Apparently, it was in "the other warehouse" instead... they had to send someone over to get it. Meanwhile, I shared my "delivery car review" with another gentleman there getting the exact same car. I have to say, the knowledge of these "delivery specialists" were very basic. Thanks to all the info on here and youtube, I think I qualify as a specialist as I knew more than he did :)

I did feel like a new father leaving the hospital though when i finally pulled away ... "Really, you are just going to let me leave with this and be responsible for it?" :)

So far so good, i have been really enjoying driving (or not driving ;)) it around town. Havent gone on any long trips down the 90 yet, but look forward to having autopilot on my trips to Rochester.

I'm still waiting for a response back from the Delivery Manager (@Mt Kisco). I emailed him again last week (after giving him a week to respond to what I wrote) for an update... From what I've been reading/hearing, Kisco is the worst for customer service in the area...

Now I'm completely aggravated that Tesla announced if they can't deliver before end of 2018 that they will cover the difference in tax incentives ($3750)

I had to take a day off of work. Fly from Buffalo at 5am to get to Mt Kisco at 8am. 1230pm I got to see the car. Then my 9 hour return drive home. I pleaded with them to bring me the car because I had to have surgery the following day.

Passenger door piano trim was all scratched at delivery, emails to tesla.com via my online account, emails to my delivery manager, still no reply from service. I know they are moving lots of cars but hey mine is paid in full I don't feel the love

Sorry to hear things haven't improved in Mt Kisco since I picked up my car last April. The number of deliveries were much lower back then but they were still in total chaos for some reason.

I like to check out delivery threads for different areas of the country to get a feel for how things are going in general across the U.S. Until I just looked at the Tesla map for NY State, I had no idea how limited the delivery centers were for a lot of you guys in State. My relatives were all on Long Island so kind of clueless to other areas. I guess I can see why Mt Kisco being the most northern store gets much of the delivery business for the rest of the State (Guess Cleveland and Pittsburgh would be the stores closest to western NY). So different for us here in the SF Bay area where we are spoiled really.

I know you guys have mobile coverage for service but too bad those of you like in the Buffalo area can't use the Canadian service centers (unless I'm wrong). Northeast coast there is kind of the new Wild West on the other side of the country as far as Tesla pioneering. LOL. So how large of a community of Tesla owners is there outside of the dense NYC area? Do you see other Teslas on the road? With Tesla starting to really take off with the Model 3, hopefully stores and service centers will be coming closer to you this year and next.
