Needing to source the right-angled connecting short USB cables to suit Model 3. I specifically need the Micro USB option at the moment ... are these generally available? My initial searches didn't come up with any from UK. If we had a UK Tesla store at least I could buy some expensive ones ... but surely there are other suppliers. Any recommendations?

To fit they need to be a specific shape with a longer part after the bend.

I bought https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074QJW3SD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but they're slightly too short - they only just reach the USB ports when the lid is closed (which I solved by using a hub, but that's not going to work for everyone). Really need something around 0.3-0.5m depending on how much slack you need. I haven't found anything of that specification, alas.

Which end of the USB cable to you need to be right angled? There are plenty on amazon or ebay if you search for "right angle micro USB) whether they are quality is another matter

The console has standard USB sockets underneath for cables to be routed to the phone. The right angled micro usb end for the phone clips into the bottom of the phone bay. They will need to be a specific fit. Everyone must be using these ... do you email Tesla parts ... cost? Other options?

Yes, that's what I'm after, but to micro usb rather than USB C.

Does this fit?

TecMad do the same cable in a 1.2m length. Too long really so I have had to coil the excess but it works for me.

The lightening charge cable does not work with my iPhone 6 and a Tech 21 case which is reasonably thick. Fine without case. iPhone XR fine with a generic case, will try with a thicker one as I suspect that is the differentiator. It will still stop things moving even without charging and tbh, I only needed charging if using satnav app which will probably be less used now.

Wouldn't want the 31cm lead to be any shorter. It starts putting a little strain on the USB plug when the phone section is raised.
