Good afternoon.
I wanted to start notating my Used experience to share amongst the hundreds of others who have already done the same.
5/2 1200
After searching on EV-CPO and finding exactly what I was looking for I placed the order and put down my 2500 dollars.
I had already read the many CPO/Used experiences so I had an idea of what to expect. Click the request picture button and almost immediately had an email with quiet a few pictures. Wow I was impressed with the cleanliness and quality. The car was chrome deleted and had some torn vinyl on the read Tesla appliqué but other than that perfect.
After the initial order was placed the checklist appeared on the Tesla page and I promptly completed everything. At this point I sat back and waited for someone to give me some direction (I selected self financed for the payment method.)
The car I ordered is around 1300 miles from my nearest SC which is about 2.5 hours from where I live. I gladly will pay the shipping fee though as I don't feel like driving 18 hours just yet.

I went ahead and entered my trade in information and quickly got an offer back. Not bad on the speed but not so great on the offer. Since I hadn't heard from anyone I went ahead and called the 800 number and was able to speak to someone extremely helpful. They advised that if I though the offer was too low I was welcome to take my vehicle to a Carmax and that Tesla would match the offer. Good deal!

Still haven't heard from anyone but took the trade in to a Carmax and low and behold the price was about 4 grand higher. Scanned the form into my Tesla portal and called the 800 number. The next person who answered said no problem, ill send this to the proper team to get the price adjusted and you should be hearing from someone.
5/6
Called the 800 number and requested a MVPA so I could get financing taken care of. Was finally told the name of my delivery specialist. Was told he would contact me by the end of the day.
5/7
No response still from my specialist and no MVPA. couldn't do financing and still waiting for any sort of contact.
5/8
Woke up and checked my account. I finally had numbers under financing and they matched up with what I had hand calculated. Awesome! Looked through the online documents and alas...No MVPA...I called the 800 number and a guy said "I see it and will forward it to you". Me being naive said "Thanks!" and hung up. entire day goes by and no MVPA. I finally called back and someone else checked. Said it had just (within minutes) been finalized and would email it to me. I chose to stay on the line and bingo!
Finally received my MVPA (Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement)
5/9
Forwarded the MVPA to my banker and she finalized everything with the load with one exception. Because Tesla does not draft directly from banks I am required to send a physical check overnight. Because of this my bank is requiring a Letter of Guarantee. She said she would call Tesla and ask for one but knowing how hard it is I went ahead and called to try and get one. Calling my trusty 800 number the person immediately suggested I contact my delivery specialist. They proceeded though to get them on whatever messenger Tesla uses and explained what I needed. He said he would take care of it and I would have it in time to get the check and overnight it to Tesla. At this time I was told by the rep that my car hadn't actually moved at all (conflicting stories from the beginning) and wouldn't move until I uploaded a picture of the check and the tracking number to my account and the vehicle was marked at fully paid. Drat...I verified this with other peoples post that I had somehow missed and am now still waiting for the letter.
I will update this post as this progresses forward. I am not posting this to whine or complain but just want to give a detailed/accurate accounting of my own personal experience. I knew what I was getting myself into but I think the payoff (driving that Model S home) will be worth it.
