I'm working on support for iXpand. If you send me your Apple ID email I can add you to the beta.I got your app thinking it would work with ixpand but it didnt. Will it work with an SSD drive such as https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-T5-Portable-SSD-MU-PA1T0B/dp/B073GZBT36?th=1
Yeah, it’s not the best, but works for a cheap set up. At least it does for me. If you are okay with adding a power source the other apps are good, just annoying needing that extra power source. The iUSB app was very unreliable for me when I tried it previously

I used to have a similar setup with a different adapter. I don't necessarily trust apps from no-name developers in China though, so I got rid of it once I had updated to iOS 13. With iOS 13, you don't really need any app anymore but can simply view and delete the videos using the integrated Files app as long as you have a fully compatible Lightning SD card reader. I use this one:SD card reader with Lightning output:
VIKASI SD Card Reader,Memory Micro SD Card Reader USB Type C Adapter Viewer Compatible with iPhone iPad Android Mac - with Lightning Micro USB Type C 4 in 1 (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MSD1L2D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.RO4Db8FBTXGK
iUSB Pro app (app the adapter recognizes on its own):
iUSB Pro
That was my issue. I have the USB3 adapter from apple, and I was putting my SD card into and adapter, and then into the reader like I was reading about, but the Files app wasnt reading my SD card. Nothing would pop up when I plugged everything in and opened Files....I used to have a similar setup with a different adapter. It's a clone of Apple's SD card camera reader, but can take Micro SD cards directly without using a fullsize SD card adapter (and is also a lot less expensive). Similar models from other brands are also available on Amazon.
It should work with the OP's app if you want a more polished presentation.
If you fully close the app and then open it again does it work?I'm having a problem with the app where my car says there was x amount of sentry incidents but there's none showing in the app after loading the drive
Sadly no . I was thinking maybe it had to do with the firmware version of my car. I'm still on v9 the one that doesn't record the backup camera. If you fully close the app and then open it again does it work?
That makes sense - V9 doesn't save Sentry Clips separately. You should be able to find them in Saved Clips.Sadly no . I was thinking maybe it had to do with the firmware version of my car. I'm still on v9 the one that doesn't record the backup camera.
Ahh, I thought it might be something like that. Thanks, now I know for sure why it isn't working. That makes sense - V9 doesn't save Sentry Clips separately. You should be able to find them in Saved Clips.
There is another icon next to the Sentry icon that looks like a camera (as opposed to Sentry's HAL 9000 eye). If it has a red dot, it's recording. Is there a way to know if and when the the Dash Cam is actually recording while the car is moving? The Sentry Icon on screen disappears as soon as the car is put into drive or reverse so there is not way to tell on screen.
