I got the email as well about the sessions and got excited but still April (ha) to June 2023 in the app. For anyone that did financing via Tesla: did you have to wait for the VIN to apply? The app told me to apply, I did, and didn't get an answer (it actually said paying with Cash after). The bank called me 5 minutes later to verify I did indeed apply as it was from outside of the state since I am in CT, then directed me to Tesla. Tesla called me about 15 minutes later "just to chat about my new reservation" so I had asked, and they said I would have to wait for the VIN to apply. Little worried it will either hold up the process or they will re-ding my report if we go past a certain timeframe. Does that seem right about applying only when you get the VIN?

You should wait to apply for credit until you get a VIN. Even the delivery specialist said the same thing.

Nope I think us east coast types are at the end of the supply chain ( and end of May)

We know by now there is almost no way we are getting a vehicle this month. Unless one pops up under expedited delivery I totally assuming mid June at this point.

That’s probably a good assumption. I’ve said it before but I think we ordered in a wave of demand that was driven by the tax break and the price cut. I know it motivated me to pull the trigger. Our cars aren’t even close to built.

Add to that east coast, probably low volume area (I’m in eastern VA) and we are going to wait a while.

I’m a bit surprised we don’t even have a broad estimate yet but it will give me some time to get a wall charger installed (although that hasn’t been shipped yet).

Mine was 4/30 for a red on white MYP. Still May 2023 for my EDD as well, but I know it's still a bit too early for me.
