That, I would like to know. I don’t think it will go up that dramatically from what I’ve seen in forums. It will still be less than Geico’s $333 for sure
IMO, it is the “Bait”, then they use whatever calculation and formula to lower the offer. Since they don’t really “see” the true car, they have all the excuses to lower the final offer.

Just found out I have Version 1.0 of the Tesla Insurance. This means the "night driving" is not a factor. Thank god. I don't do much night driving anyways but sometimes I leave out of state on vacation and we drive at night.
Yes, wait until delivery date and INSIST on inspecting the car before signing any paperwork. They try to do all of the paperwork first to prevent a refusal. You always have the absolute right to inspect before signing anything. Take a flashlight and small yellow post-it notes. Any issue, stick on a post-it and take a photo with your camera. Then tell them to fix any issues and you will be back. It will get any issues fixed MUCH faster. Otherwise some people have reported having to wait a month or more for an appointment. They have gotten much better, but there are things that you can do to stack the deck in your favor. Signing paperwork first means you own it and cannot reject.
