Have always folded the mirrors on past cars, and the attendants do it on manual fold mirrors so I assume it's important to do. Glad you were able to fix it!

Is there a possibility the manager will tell me to **** off when I come in with the due bill in a few weeks?
I used touchless all winter in Wisconsin even in temperatures far below zero - they have heated bays with closing doors that keep everything warm between washes. That's easy for you left coasters. Have you ever tried to wash a car in 30 degree weather?
I use car washes most of the year. Easy, quickest way to get a clean car. Unfortunately sometimes a mirror breaks
Well I figure weather wasn't much of an issue since he had flip flops on. Wash your car in your garage and if you're spoiled your heated garage. But when weather is that bad, you go to a reputable hand car wash and pay someone to do it.That's easy for you left coasters. Have you ever tried to wash a car in 30 degree weather?

I've been through a lot of touch based carwashes (some even in the Tesla), and I've never seen a sign telling to fold the mirrors. I've also never seen anyone folding mirrors.+1 fold your mirrors
(Don't they have a sign telling you to? Ours does.)
