Curious as to why some cars have it and some do not. Also, seems to be varying levels of volume.

Do you guys have the Pedestrian Warning Speaker unplugged?
Thanks much WilliamOnly critical updates get forced to the car. You can just leave it as is - it won't install unless you manually install it or Tesla decides this is safety critical.
Let the car sleep, or wait for the next update. Did this resolve with letting the car sleep?
Because Tesla! Also, people's hearing does vary, so I imagine they're probably within a range of dB that to one person would be likely the same.Curious as to why some cars have it and some do not. Also, seems to be varying levels of volume.
Sounds like all Tesla products; steering wheel vibration, suspension issues, FSD success/failure rate...tons of fun for all!Curious as to why some cars have it and some do not. Also, seems to be varying levels of volume.

No, 2022.28.2 came out yesterday, - does not fix it according to those who have installed it.Have 2022.28.1 that still has the noise, have not seen 2022.28.2 yet, was that mistyped
Based only on my experience getting a new head lamp installed (under warranty, in a May 2018 build TM3) back in the fall of 2018, I’m not surprised that there are different effects of the same software build on different VINs of the same batch of vehicles.Curious as to why some cars have it and some do not. Yup, this is one of the main reasons new cars stay on factory builds for a while. They need to integrate the new drivers into the mainline branch before the new cars can be upgrade to a mainline build.Based only on my experience getting a new head lamp installed (under warranty, in a May 2018 build TM3) back in the fall of 2018, I’m not surprised that there are different effects of the same software build on different VINs of the same batch of vehicles.
The technique of continuing running hardware improvements that Tesla employs (versus previous industry standard of saving a bunch of improvements for the next model year) can lead to the same batch of vehicles having different pieces of hardware; to the point where my new headlamp would not “plug and play” as the technician had to install what was, for practical purposes, the “driver” for said piece of hardware.
Just got notified of the update to 2022.28.2No, 2022.28.2 came out yesterday, - does not fix it according to those who have installed it.
Yeah, don't expect any progress in this issue's regard.Just got notified of the update to 2022.28.2
Just rediculous. I can't believe this isn't a top 1 SWAT type crisis for Tesla to dog pile and fix immediately. I hope Elon can see this thread.28.2 and still buzzing!!!
