What do we want to know from the first person to get AP2.0?

What kinds of things do we want from whomever gets AP 2.0 first...
  • Pictures of the various cameras
  • Description of what features it COMES with?
  • Photos of configuration screens?
  • Is the extra 12v wire still in the headliner by the mirror? (or did they use it for the new camera unit?)
  • A complete schematic of the new wiring harness? (ok, probably a bit much to ask for)

Well, there should be between 4,000 & 6,000 cars built with AP2 by now.

As the software is not ready yet, it would make sense if those cars were destined for the most distant markets for delivery in December.

I would like to know if they fixed the space under the driver seat.

I had a water bottle roll from the back seat up under the driver seat right up under my break pedal and get wedged there, had I not been using autopilot my family might have rear ended a car in front of me at like 60mph.

I sent a report to tesla hoping they blocked the space or atleast put a bump under the seat to stop stuff from rolling back to front.

I had not heard of that issue yet... I wonder if that is a good thing for an aftermarket piece... seems like it should be possible to design a pretty simple plastic shield to "snap" in and provide a block... ("he says without having ever looked under the seat")

ev-cpo has two Model X with AP2.0 inventory cars. Havent seen any S's listed
TeslaInventory.com had about 30 vehicles (including many Model S) with AP2 hardware listed as early as October 16th (days before the official AP2 hardware reveal). Most of them were headed to Europe. They still show up in the Inactive Listings but it looks like they aren't showing up in current listings. I'm guessing because Tesla stopped offering suggested matches in the Design Studio back on the 19th.

My S90D is slated to enter production this week or next, according to my Delivery Specialist. I've been a lurker in these forums for a while but finally an active participant. If anyone has any questions when I take delivery soon, I'm happy to help!
