I'd love to have a table/wiki with other vehicles in any of the same price / utility segment as well as PHEV SUVs (but can't put the time in it right now )

The New Volvo XC90 T8 is going to be extremely competitive!!! Might undercut the price by a good $10k
more comfortable seating in all three rows.
How would you know this? Have you sat in either?
Anybody have any guesses, how much a Model X will go for?
If the only thing one wants is an all-electric SUV (like my wife does), then what else is there? We already have a "baby Tesla" Toyota Rav4 EV, and that doesn't hold a candle to the Model X (and won't be available much longer). So my wife will be cross shopping the Model X 60kWh against the Model X 85kWh (or whatever configurations Tesla actually releases).
For me, though, I like the EREV (extended range electric vehicle) model that uses a back-up gas engine for when the battery is depleted, so I could see myself cross shopping the Mitsubishi Outlander (if it ever actually arrives in the U.S.), the Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid, Audi Q7 e-tron, Volvo XC90 T8, and perhaps some "regular" hybrids like the Lexus RX450h. I was, at one point, going to strongly consider the Nissan Renaissance (now branded as the 2015 Murano), but was shocked to discover it wasn't going to be EV or hybrid...even though it looks like it should.
Y'know - after looking at that list above, I'm probably not cross shopping at all. Unless Cadillac surprises everyone with an SRX EREV similar to the ELR, or Lexus translates the Toyota Rav4 EV into the luxury fold, the Model X is really all I'd be considering.
My mental assumption is Model S plus 10%. I figure the 2nd motor will add to the price. The size of that assumption is at least 50%, if not more, motivated by a desire to overestimate the price for Model X so I can be pleasantly surprised at how "lightly" I'll get away from the order page for.
Didn't Elon say the MX was going to be LESS than the MS ?GH
More recently he and others at Tesla have only been saying "priced comparably to Model S". I certainly wouldn't expect it to be less than Model S, but it could be equal to and probably won't be too much more than a Model S with the same battery pack and motor configuration.No. From the day the Model-X was announced, Elon has always stated that the MX would be single-digit (percentage) more than a comparably optioned MS.

Hasn't he said a lot of stuff that never panned out? Like having third party apps on the Model S by now.FWIW: Elon has also, at least in one event in, I think it was around 2014, used the words "low" single digit percentage more.
