Is there a way I can find out the exact battery type in my car? I tried VIN decoder but that's not very detailed. I haven't received delivery of the car yet, just trying to do a bit of learning before it arrives. It's a certified used 2020 Model 3 LR AWD right hand drive.

So over the past 1-2 weeks I’ve noticed that my app is unable to connect to my 2020 MS when the car is asleep. I just get the little spinning wheel. If I use my key fob to wake up the car the app works fine. Just want to connect to control temperature or maybe charge. Seems like people have had this issue before but can’t seem to see if there is any fix? Never had this issue before. Any thoughts?

I have to fill my tires with air every couple of weeks. It's usually between 1-4 psi's. Anybody else have this problem? I have a 2023 Model 3. And does anybody have a recommendation for a good portable tire inflator? Thanks in advance for your help.

$846 to change a rear light sounds like part of a joke, but seriously? My Tesla service center gives me contradictory advice about whether it involves one component or two. If it's just one, it's "only" $500. I see lot's of DIY YouTube but what are the right components?

I have SiriusXM on my Model S. SiriusXM did a big update yesterday but it did not update on my car. I have refreshed my radio via SiriusXM and have also talked with Tesla support. So far neither company sees an issue that can be addressed. I have also done scroll resets on the car but to no avail. I have another car (Lexus) which took the update without a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Good afternoon Everyone, I am having a hard time finding a connector/pigtail ( I know its part of a harness we just don't know which harness that is ). It is underneath the wheel well on the front passenger side, to be exact its on the DC DC - the issue that we are having is that our customer brought it in without the pigtail, its missing we have no idea of what it looks like.

has anyone here has ordered the connector for the "signal", I am trying to see what harness is it attached to. I contacted Tesla but the parts guy mentioned he " believes" what we are looking for is for the front right body harness. I wanted to verify to see if anyone here has purchased it before and can confirm if it does come with a specific harness or if you guys have a picture of it it will also help out so much, thank you.

It reports total energy buy not home and utility breakdown. Any one else seen this problem?

My outside temperature reading is stuck on 87 (when the weather has been between 49 and 68 today). I rebooted, and nothing. Any guidance is much appreciated. The nearest Tesla Center is over an hour away and a solid few weeks out. Im worried that if I drive it while the outside temp is wrong, it may damage something. Anyone experience this?

On the warranty page (https://www.tesla.com/en_gb/support/vehicle-warranty) it mentions that "when a vehicle ownership transfer is performed through Tesla." the warranty still applies to the new owner. When purchasing second hand from a dealer, is there a way to check if a vehicle's ownership has always been transferred though Tesla and the warranty still applies?

I went to a supercharger for the first time and I heard 2-3 bangs coming from the undercarriage and felt like it was under my drivers side. I only added 20% to get me home so those bangs were in between then. Is this something I should bring it in for or is this part of supercharging? I did precondition but was only 8 minutes from the SC so maybe that was the problem? (2018 M3 LR)

Wind storm and hit a fallen branch I didn't see that punctured the front of the car. Coolant leaked immediately and quickly. Bottom of the car punctured as well. Low coolant warning popped within 2 minutes. Is the car driveable to a service center (2.5hr away)?

I have been using a Tesla wall connector for 2+ years with no issues. Installed through Tesla's recommended licensed electrician. All of a sudden my wall connector stopped working and I called an electrician, he came out within 3 hours and inspected everything. I was with him all the time and everything looked 100%. All cable, switch, wirebox, breaker, all voltage reading looks good. I called Tesla and they are saying they are seeing grounds error on their side. Which I haven't seen on my side( no msg, no red light, etc) till now. Basically, they are saying it's an error on my side and that's why it's died. It's still under warranty. I don't what to do. Please advise. Anyone experienced anything like that?

I’ve been lucky enough to have picked up my new model 3 and driven it for around 500km now. It’s a very good car. No noise in the cabin and very easy to drive. It does still rattle a little in the wheel at higher speeds but I’ll keep an eye on it.

It wasn’t an easy delivery so to say.
to keep it short:
1. Waiting 4 hours before getting my car.
2. No cameras was working. No SOS call. GPS was stuck at delivery centre when I got home.
3. It would not update the software no matter what I did.
4. It has 4% charge.

2 days after getting it, It all suddenly worked and came to life.
Tesla was one big question mark when I called and told them that the car was working now.

With all this in mind, the one thing I cannot get to work is the Autoshift out of park feature. I’ve calibrated my cameras twice and all happened quickly within 5-10 minutes after the cameras came to life.

Do you have any ideas? I know MS and MX would have the same feature but can’t seem to find and answer…

The A/C is not cooling my car properly. I have taken the car in twice for service repairs. Both times the service center diagnosed my car with a refrigerant leak and replaced a whole bunch of parts in my car. However, after the first appointment it only took one week before the A/C stopped working again. I took it in again and they said there was still a leak. Then they replaced more parts. And now it has been about 3 weeks since my last repairs and the A/C has stopped working yet again. I have made another service appointment, so hopefully they'll actually fix the problem this time, but I am understandably extremely annoyed. I am an Uber driver and so I rely heavily on my car. Additionally, I can't afford to constantly have repairs being done on my car. I was curious if anyone else has dealt with a similar problem. I was also wondering if anyone who works at a tesla service center and has a decent amount of knowledge on the inner workings of the HVAC system might know of any reasons why the tesla service center near me has repeatedly failed to fix my car.

I am planning a 600 mile trip in my MYP. I have only used LVL 2 charging, to date. I'm planning on hitting a SC or three for this trip. In looking through the onboard Navi, I can see the prices of the SCs in my area. I'm posting 2 pictures so you can see what I see. I'm assuming that we don't get a large variance in price where I am. It looks like the Cambridge, MA SC has a constant price of .39 per kWh. Another nearby in Somerville, MA only varies between .39 and .47. Am I reading this correctly? The the bars underneath the prices represent busy times, not price apparently?

Brakes are functioning properly and pads do not show much wear, but on tire rotation found 30-50% of discs surface were not being used. Thought I'd cleand lube the sliders, but don't see how to access them like a traditional car. Will I be able to remove the caliper and access them with typical garage tools?

I have been searching everywhere for an answer. While my 2020 M3LR is sitting in the garage, it starts making a loud rumbling/grinding noise from the front end. The car is off and on the charger. I'll try to add the sound file.

Hello everybody! I bought a model s from 2014 with the original yacht floor. I really love the new armrest in the newest model s/x, and i know that some people have upgraded the gen 1 center console to the newer gen 2 console. Does anyone know if there are any big differences size wise in the gen 3 center console?
If not,does anyone have a pattern of the bolts used to secure the center consoles to the floor? I have attached a picture to show an example of the newest center console. This one for example has a cracked rear screen but custs 400€

Signature Model S When operating the steering wheel, an abnormal noise occurs only on the right front when going over a step. Do you have any information?

Right front upper arm, AFT link, lower arm, air suspension, stabilizer link, tie rod end, all replaced.

The mileage is 150,000km. P85 model

I don't understand the cause at all.

seen this online, eBay, but no name other than part number 1044225-00-B.

Seems to be a 19x8.5 wheel for the model 3. Any help is greatly appreciated.
