We took our model Y to the service center today for an unrelated issue. As it was produced during this target period, I asked about the recall. They very sternly answered that’s it’s not officially documented yet, so they will not look at it. FYI FWIW YMMV

So my wife’s Y error just fixed itself. After days of driving without heat despite multiple resets and power offs it started working today and the error message is gone....for better or worse since we have a service appointment tomorrow. Is it still worth going?

My wife has the same error message except the heat will not work at all; not from the car or the app. Service appt set up for the 8th

I had the same issue and someone on here solved it for me. Press on dumb summon for just half a second or so then smart summon will work

Which tires did you get/do you recommend as replacements?

Maryland and dc require them I think. I was pleasantly surprised as well

I also have a 3 and and a y, both awd. I find the drive and handling similar, with the edge to the 3. I think it boils down to 2 factors: 1. If acceleration and handling matter more, go with the 3 2. If space is important, go with the y You can’t go wrong with either. If I had to...

I got it. Don’t do a ton of hwy driving, but used it some. I fall on the side of good, not great. But cool nonetheless. The biggest benefit is not having to turn AP on and off to switch lanes. the second biggest benefit was it pushed me to get the boost as well, because why not

Thanks, ya. I tried it in my driveway and work parking lot but no dice. Maybe if they can work on it with a ranger I’ll pursue it. Otherwise may not even be worth the hassle

My wife just got her MY AWD and complains that whenever regen braking kicks in she feels the steering wheel rumble. Any ideas? Should I trade in the Y or the wife?

Just got the EAP option on my AWD model 3. Every time I try to use smart summon it says “summon not ready”. I’ve tried turning on smart standby as well as a hard reset—no success. I realize from reading on here it’s probably not worth it but just seeing if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this
