I wish, the Smart Tesla unit used the same mounting brackets and struts, this is the problem they created for themselves and us few that have issues with bracket placement (height issues).

with regards to your question about the mounts not being flush, I was told by support (Smart Tesla) that you should be aware of "extra" seam sealer that could be preventing the mount from sitting flush.

To add, the control box for Tesla Offer, is nicer, one connector, and I assume waterproof as opposed to the control box of Smart Tesla and whichever company it is supplied from (Hannshow?).

I can tell you I used it once, on a trip to Disney world, Orlando in August, very hot.... With that said it is not something you take down and put back up, it is tedious and honestly the clips fall off easily. We left it on all weekend including driving.

As I mentioned I have the 2 magnets and I am hesitant to have my roof have these two metal plates stuck to it, there is no way I would want more stuck to the glass. That is just my opinion though.
