Supercharger - Puyallup, WA (permit found, 12 stalls)

Got the site plans. Gonna be good visibility right at the corner.

Supercharger - Puyallup, WA (permit found, 12 stalls)

I’m still hoping for a Bonney Lake-Buckley-Enumclaw location to cover 410. Going towards Puyallup (unless heading south) is out of the way if you are going 410 east bound. Fingers crossed East Pierce keeps getting some love. Im Selfishly hoping for Target Bonney Lake 😂

Supercharger - Puyallup, WA (permit found, 12 stalls)

I would’ve put it in the same spot. I’ll keep an eye on the location for any work progress.

Supercharger - Puyallup, WA (permit found, 12 stalls)

New 12 stall supercharger permitted in the Target Parking lot of the South Hill Mall. At the corner of Meridian and 512. Permit found Courtesy of Marco

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. 40th St. (under construction Feb 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

I had go back and look where I got it from and realized he messaged it to me but he never actually posted the site plan just the initial permit. Either way excited to see this one moving forward. It had gone quiet for a while.
  6. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. 40th St. (under construction Feb 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

Way back when Marco on Twitter gave the site plan for this location which had it in the upper lot along the backside of the bookstore. Would be surprised to see it moved to the center of the lower lot.

    Meta: New 100kw+ NACS Chargers

The only instance in which I would think it would be interesting to follow on these forums would for example be the build out of BP/Travel Center of America’s network of Tesla V4 hardware. They have already announced it would be operated on a 3rd party operating system though. Other than that I...

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

If my suspicion is to be believed given they have named this one “- Simon” it may mean that the location near REI on the other side of the mall could be moving forward. The only time I’ve seen a “- X Name” was because two sites were close together and would have similar names. Again just a...

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Hopefully they have plans for the EV Charging Signs to be installed… drove by on my way to the mall and every spot was occupied. Also it’s not relevant to Tesla Owners but they are also putting a Rivian Adventure Network Chargers right next to these.

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

I drove by today to check out progress and these are all angled pull in stalls, correctly positioned for the direction of traffic. That layout should hopefully prevent any ICEing from occurring or at least minimize it cause they will have to pull in between the chargers.

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

A boy can only dream of seeing a V4 pedestal soon 😂😂 just might have to stop in Wilsonville, OR or whatever the name was if the place down there that has them on my way to LA later this month.
  12. Guy Maughan

    Possible supercharger - Pateros, WA

If I’m being honest it looks a lot like the Rivian station that sat idle for awhile on the east coast I want to say charlotte at an REI, but don’t quote me on the location.
  13. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Me being the optimist I am I’m hoping this ends up being a V3.5 or V4 site. Would love to see one of those units in person.
  14. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Interesting that they chose the middle section there vs the outside along the driveway. Hopefully the mall security that is pretty consistent over there enforces the no ice vehicle parking.
  15. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

This location within the parking lot makes a lot of sense given the food options (the food court entrance) and nearby bathrooms in the mall.
  16. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Leavenworth, WA - US-2 (LIVE 30 Oct 2023, 8 V3 stalls)

Could they maybe be doing what Rivian does and future proofing? Adding 8 now with 2 feeders but plans to add 4 more? I could see this becoming a popular towing stop given the nature of the area and route. (Not familiar with this exact location but the area at large). Or is the 12 posts like you...

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Any chance you think this one charger will supersede the other 2 Precon Meeting required ones on Hosmer and Tacoma Mall blvd? (42nd/43rd or whatever they have listed as). It’s interesting to see the mall one leapfrog them move forward quickly.
  18. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. 40th St. (under construction Feb 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

I would agree with you that the other locations make more sense. I got the updated map with the location of the chargers from a friend. Decided it was time to call in some favors in Marcos absence.
  19. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. 40th St. (under construction Feb 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

LOL I stand corrected on my Last post. It’s where I figured it would be and many others felt it would be all along. Here is the exact location of where the chargers will be. Will keep an eye out for any dig tickets or ground markings.
  20. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. 40th St. (under construction Feb 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

I know this location had a permit Pin that bounced around from the REI lot, to next to Red Robin to across the street by Bank of America so I thought this was worth sharing. I drive be here quite frequently and today I noticed the side of the Petco (next to Bank of America) had been coned off...

    Supercharger - Tukwila, WA - Southcenter Parkway (LIVE 2 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Lol! Now try Tacoma with 4 superchargers in 2 miles. 1 in the ground 3 additional permitted with at least one of them about to start construction haha 😂
  22. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tukwila, WA - Southcenter Parkway (LIVE 2 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Awesome thanks for the tip! I didn’t know how to do that. 🙏🏽

    Supercharger - Tukwila, WA - Southcenter Parkway (LIVE 2 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

I haven’t seen a new thread created yet for the new permitted Tukwila Supercharger permitted and starting construction on 9/4 a few blocks from the current location. It’s a 16 Stall with a Pull through located behind the T-Mobile on Southcenter Parkway. :) I’ll be there in a couple days to...

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Well dang! I should’ve hopped on this thread Friday! I was just in Morton and Mossyrock for the weekend camping. I would’ve stopped to check these both out. I knew there was some announcement awhile back by the state about US 12 but they didn’t seem to waste any time putting those in the ground...

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Strongly agree with this! US 12 and Hwy 410 both need some sort of DCFC love whether it be Tesla or someone. They put in an EVgo station in Sumner at Winco and they have the EA station in Puyallup at the mall but would be nice to have some a little further out like Eatonville/Packwood and...

Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - S. Hosmer St. (Under Construction Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

I’m not sure where I mentioned this before, but when one of my fellow TOWA friends had the Supercharger Team do a charger chat or something they had mentioned that by building smaller but more frequent stations vs the supersized locations they can actually save money on demand charges and add...

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

Very true, Tesla has definitely been adding a lot of “neighboring” capacity. Excited to have so much capacity here in Tacoma. Hoping East Pierce County gets some love soon.
  28. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Tacoma, WA - 4502 S Steele St.- Simon (LIVE 11 Jan 2024, 16 V3 stalls)

This makes me very curious as to what their Tacoma Supercharger strategy is. With the current Evergreen Plaza one, this prospective one by the Church, the permit application for one on Hosmer at Elmers restaurant and now the permit application for one at the Mall. That would be 4 supercharger...
  29. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Leavenworth, WA - US-2 (LIVE 30 Oct 2023, 8 V3 stalls)

This could be a nice stop for those traveling highway 2 through and not stopping in Leavenworth. Nice find for sure 💯
  30. Guy Maughan

Supercharger - Tacoma, WA (LIVE Mar 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Did anyone else see this post about the second Tacoma Supercharger coming up? I’ve been keeping an eye on Supercharge.info but nothing has popped up yet. Super cool to see a second one coming so close to this one.
  31. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Quincy, WA

That sounds like a possible transformer issue :/ no comm and no power. Hope they get it back up soon. Summer travel/events are only a few months away and that is a great final stop before adventures.
  32. Guy Maughan

Supercharger - Tacoma, WA (LIVE Mar 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Not yet :/ a couple of the EVgo stations around Tacoma though have the Tesla Charger but they are limited to 50kw
  33. Guy Maughan

Supercharger - Tacoma, WA (LIVE Mar 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

I’ve talked with TPU at the auto show and my friend runs socials for them. They are typically pretty quick and they are working to grow the EV charging options in Tacoma including adding street side charging through Flo. So hopefully it gets added soon.
  34. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Quincy, WA

That is where I would normally stop too but this one is closer to where we are camping up in the dry falls/Sun Lakes area for a week. 😜 Gonna do some car camping up there and will only have access to a 120v haha
  35. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Quincy, WA

That’s what I thought but figured I would ask haha!
  36. Guy Maughan

    Supercharger - Quincy, WA

Out of curiosity, is this station super busy all the time? Or is it down? I’ve been watching it on the Tesla app and it’s consistently for the last couple days 0 of 8 available. I have a camping trip coming up that I planned on stopping here before getting to my final destination.

    Supercharger - Chehalis, WA

To follow this up 😂 My groggy still trying to wake up self spaced and forgot to take the exit. HOWEVER! It is very much so under construction with a tractor and equipment on site. Didn’t look installed from the freeway but you can see while driving by. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Not proud of this moment cause I did...

I’ll be driving past here early on Thursday morning. If I remember ill snap a couple pictures.
  39. Guy Maughan

Supercharger - Tacoma, WA (LIVE Mar 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

Stopped by the location and took some pictures. It is right off the freeway within a block or two of the on-ramp/off-ramp. The parking lot is wide open from the looks and it will have great visibility to I-5. It’s probably too early in the process for any marking to have taken place as I didn’t...

    Supercharger - Chehalis, WA

I would just like to add 1 along SR410 between SR 167 and Yakima. Be it somewhere like Bonney Lake - Buckley - Enumclaw. I know Enumclaw used to be on the find us map but nothing ever happened.
  41. Guy Maughan

Supercharger - Tacoma, WA (LIVE Mar 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

This amazing news! Interesting choice of location given the mall just a couple blocks away but nonetheless excited for Pierce County/Tacoma to finally be getting some love.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I still haven’t picked a name out but I know it’s a she. Couldn’t have been happier with my delivery. It was quick and easy. And the service center rep that stayed late for me. I got stuck in a meeting longer than I anticipated and then got stuck in traffic on my way to the Fife Service center...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Got the call this morning that my car was ready for pickup if i wanted to come in today to get it and of course I said YES! Today is graduation day for me! 124 days ago I placed this order. I’ve dreamed of this day since the first Model S rolled off the line in 2012. Can’t wait to post photos...

Does anyone have the 800 number for Tesla? I can't seem to find it.
  45. Guy Maughan

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

So I’m going to call them cause it has my payment method as cash not 3rd party finance. So I have to fix that but then I can bring a cashiers check to pickup
  46. Guy Maughan

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I plan to bring my finance check and my downpayment check to tesla when I pick-up but the paperwork will have to be correct as they will have to re-title it if they don’t put my credit union on it and I’ll have to pay for that.

I don’t have that option and I don’t remember it giving me those options before I got a vin either. I may just have to end up calling on Monday for some tech help.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I tried but it wasn’t very helpful there either. :/ I’ll give them a call on Monday. My SA just recently became responsive and even then is not very helpful.
