    Good Tesla joke!

    Ha! Ha!

Which is the most important Supercharger location in Canada? Please have your say!

I would have to say Kingston as it is strategically located half way between our country's two largest cities. It was a real shame and total inconvenience that it took so long to get it going. I would also like to add, and maybe I'm being bold by saying it, but I think it is also one of the...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

There are places in eastern Canada besides Ontario you know! Lol! My guess is Riviere du Loup will be the next finished SC site.

There's also the Brookstreet hotel in Kanata which has two Tesla high speed chargers underground and they are free, for three hours parking.

People don't realize it but the Lawrence Ave. HQ space is also leased!

Stopped in Kingston today and got up to 564 km/h charging. Great! Half hour dinner at Biston Pizza and I was good to go. Didnt care for the loud volume of a U.S. college Basketball game when I would have preferred hockey. The bartender even refused to turn it down. Needless to say, I didn't...

PowerWall and "The Missing Piece..." Event

Probably a Tesla fragrance or spray. It will be called "Musk"!

Model S main web site Photo taken in Vancouver!

Nice of Tesla Motors to have taken photo of Model S from their web site, in Vancouver, Canada! Go Canucks! Model S | Tesla Motors

What if a law is passed requiring 2 people in front seats of all cars at all times?

In light of the GermanWings crash Tuesday and the revelation that a mentally unstable co pilot deliberately crashed the plane, could our government, or any governing body, implement a rule stating that ALL cars, including Teslas, MUST have at least 2 people in the front at all times to alleviate...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Great effort you put in but i don't think we will ever see that many SC's in rural Canada. Perhaps eventually in the south along the TC, yes, but northerly routes I doubt very much.

    Mexico Superchargers

How about the moon, Tranquility Base, would be a good starting point. Neil Armstrong's iconic " One Giant step for man, one giant leap for mankind" could be changed to "One electrifying step for men and women, one Supercharged leap for all kind!"

A SC in Belleville please! Easy access up the 37 to Tweed and Hwy 7 to Ottawa! A no brainer! Plus it simplifies range anxiety from Toronto to Kingston, especially in Winter!
  16. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Wow! Thats a little strong Wayner don't you think? A lot of us go to North Bay, Sudbury, Parry sound and the Soo for work in Winter and summer and it would be a nice drive in the Tesla. Their plans for next year are for SC's in North Bay and Sudbury and hopefully further along in 2017. I think...

Grammar question: Plural of Model S?

The plural of the Model S is Model X. LOL!
  19. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

No, I would like to see it in Cyborg or Belleville or Tweed or Sauté St. Marie or North Bay or Sudbury or even Ottawa.

Grammar Misteaks, Spelling Misteaks, and Bad Puns :)

Just be really careful when doing this. I know another member who was "banned forever" for trying to nicely correct someone's grammar!

    UAVs/Phantom Vision 2

You should always use a gimbal on the camera to stabilize the image. Also, the GoPro camera setting should be set to "Narrow" mode only. The wide mode is too "fish eye" looking. Keep it up though. (Pardon the pun!)

Elon "About to end range anxiety"

Perhaps it will allow us to pull into a regular gas station and fill up with gas! LOL!

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

So what has happened to the two temp SC's in Kingston? Are they still there? Perhaps they could be put in Cobourg or Belleville for now? - - - Updated - - - I think a great spot for a Supercharger would be right at an existing gas pump station such as PetroCan, Esso, Shell etc. Put it right...
  24. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Interesting that it's next to a gas station. If, for any reason the SC's are ICED, it would be a great idea to go and "park" in one o the gas station stalls and wait it out until a SC becomes free. NOT!

I think Cobourg is too close to Toronto. I agree that both the Toronto SC and Cornwall are really "out of the way" from the 401 whereas Kingston in Perfect. Woodstock is fairly close to the 401 and Comber will be too when it opens in 2018! LOL!
  26. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

No, Cyborg or Port Hope are just too close to Toronto. Plus, Napanee is a good send off to Hwy 7 to drive to Ottawa. Belleville would be my next choice.
  27. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Cornwall was NOT the first SC in Canada! It was the first in Eastern Canada. Squamish BC was the first to open in Canada last summer! - - - Updated - - - PoweredbyRain, I don't agree with you. What are we supposed to do when we get to our destination city then? Chances are the hotel you...

What do you mean by Ottawa? There re no SC's in or near Ottawa.
  29. A

    Western Canada Superchargers

Canmore is open completing the Vancouver to Calgary route, which is great, and yet southern Ontario/Quebec is still pretty poorly laid out. I guess Tesla prioritizes the west even though the east has tons more Teslas.

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Drummondville is becoming a farce! Can I say the same about Comber? Yes I can! SC's are opening up almost every day in the States and yet in Canada, when they do open, its a BIG announcement with pomp and ceremony! I am somewhat disappointed in the SC network rollout here. Not what I was told...

CHCH TV Model S misinformed review

I watched the late news last night to see if they would mention the story but they didn't. I guess they knew they were wrong but didn't want to show it.

CHCH TV Model S misinformed review

I just watched it online and was disappointed in the mis information especially at the end in the studio where he says "the infrastructure isn't quite there yet". How dare he say that! The 240 dryer plug does NOT give you 100 km an hour charge and the price, for certain models, is not over...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Glad to see Kingston up and running. We need them now in Burlington, Vt and Plattsburg, NY, for those of us leaving from Montreal heading south. A SC in Napanee would be ideal for those of us going from Ottawa to Toronto via the picturesque Hwy 7.

Aoxin Ibis EV sedan from China

I wonder what the price will be and when it is available. It does look like a Ford Fusion or Chrysler 200. Ugh!

    Military members

I wonder if any type of union shop would have access to great rates too on the Tesla!

Canada - Are you guys mounting your front license plates?

I'm waiting for the cops to pull me over for having a missing tailpipe! LOL!

  39. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Yes I understand that but it doesn't help drivers going on to North BAY or Sudbury.
  40. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Personally, I don't know why Tesla decided to put a SC in Barrie of all places in the first place. Surely, Orillia, Parry Sound or Huntsville would have been better choices as Barrie is too close to the Lawrence SC.
  41. A

Have any P85D owners received their EV rebate yet?

The rebate has nothing to do with Tesla. It is the provincial government that issues it. Mind you, Tesla has to submit it to the gov't and depending on how long that takes, could be a reason for the delay.
  42. A

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

There definitely needs to be one somewhere between Toronto and Kingston as the distance is just a little too much in winter.

I wonder which will be the next SC going online in Ontario. Comber, Cobourg or Belleville?
