“Red Shading” Missing From Automatic Blind Spot Camera in Latest Update

Are you looking for it with the cameras up all the time, or just when signaling?
I believe it is only visible when a car is in the blind spot AND the turn signal is on. I wish it worked even with the blinker off.
I got it (2018 LR M3), but it seems it doesn't light up as much I thought it would. It's almost as if there needs to be imminent danger for it to light up.

I got that version on my MY, the only .30 that downloaded, I see red when there is a vehicle in conflict.
That’s the version I have too. No red shading in release notes but it activates… *sometimes*
vintage 2018 HW2.5 Model 3 with USS and HW4 sidemarker cameras:
-red outline has yet to activate... even though the lane guidance shows the car in a lane directly to the left or right in 'red' as it has for a while with last few years of software updates
legacy 2022 HW3 Model Y with USS and HW3 sidemarker cameras:
-red outline activates often
early 2023 HW3 Model Y without USS, with HW3 sidemarker cameras:
-red outline activates often

I didn't think HW4 cameras worked with HW3, or older, FSD computers. Did you do that upgrade yourself?

That was my impression also. If they work as a drop in, then that's fairly interesting and I don't think had been reported before.
