Just got it, update failed and now AP is disabled. According to 24h road assitance a patch is coming since this one fails in Norway and Sweden. Tip to these countries, wait!
Just had the same problem in Canada.

I, personally, am going to hate this change to easy entry. It already takes too long to finish moving as it is. This will just slow the process even further.
It's safer to put it in park, especially when kids are getting into or out of the car. One slip of a foot when turning around or something and bad things can happen. There is no need to put the car in park to let people in and out of the car. Just click on the unlock icon in the top left corner of the MCU.
I went from 2017.42 to 2017.50 this morning on an S w/ AP 2.0. I got a failure notice on my phone and in the car, but the phone and car also indicate they the new .50 firmware installed.
Had thus issue on both .40 and .42. Had SC do the .44 without the issue. Have had no updates since.I went from 2017.42 to 2017.50 this morning on an S w/ AP 2.0. I got a failure notice on my phone and in the car, but the phone and car also indicate they the new .50 firmware installed.
Interesting,I think they did pull this update. I also received the "Software update is available" notification at 2:52AM this morning and when I went to the car, there was no alarm clock to schedule the installation.
I feel very very lucky...I can confirm that my car tried to update to version 50 today in the UK however it has failed and left me without AP, cruise control etc...
