"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

I just posted this on the Dragy app leaderboard, but I wanted to get some testing before I purchase the boost upgrade, but after the free 5% upgrade.

59 degrees ambient temp, warm battery (not dots) 72% SoC.

Great numbers! expecially without 2K upgrade.
I have Dragy too and there are 3 concerns on your log.
1) Strange spike to 1G of acceleration (typical of P3D), and the "over to 0.5G" it's maintained strong , much more than others log I saw.
2) the near 3 tenth difference between the one foot time and the one without.
3) the Speed line has not the typical slope expecially at the beginning .
I never tried a road with a such a strange slope, I'd try again with 90% SOC and a different road.

From the testing I've seen of draggy vs vbox vs the timing lights at a "real" track draggy is usually closer to the track results.

If that's "better" or not varies I suppose. Vbox is used more commonly by car mags in part because it has existed longer.

So which is better, 10hz or 20hz.
I assume 20hz is better, but why ?

I believe it polls gps faster at 20. But now that I look, my vbox May be 10. See here

Not sure, the issue is where I live is very hilly and trying to find a good road is tough. There's a road with a stop sign that I would have thought to be flat, and straight, but turns out it's more then -1% slope so those runs came back invalid.

Got my email notifying me of available Acceleration Boost for my LR AWD on 12/19. Have checked update section of My Account every day since but still not available. Tesla, why won’t you let me give you $2000?

Is the Vbox or Draggy best for testing speeds ?
Seems Vbox costs a lot more. Is there features that are better on that unit. ?

I have both. The VBOX is more TI-85 graphing calculator. The Dragy is a calculator. For 99.9% of cases just use the standard calculator.

....with the absolute best time being 3.47 from Magnus Mako, then 3.49 from you, 3.48 from another guy, and 3.51 and 3.55 the next 2 quickest

You have Track Mode but no Boost? That’s an odd combo. This is for a regular Dual Motor with no red underline on the screen?

Sounds like it’s time to play around with it for a bit until it gets removed!

If you have track mode you have a P, not a LR AWD.

If you didn't pay for one, you probably want to stop talking now

10 updates, lol. Just tell them to tick all the feature boxes and you will be good to go.

In the Tesla app on your phone, on the main screen if you scroll all the way down, do you see Dual Motor with a red underline? Or just Dual Motor?

BTW here in Europe (at least in Italy) the Acceleration Boost option is not availabe yet.
I'm performing all the last 0-60mph without the Upgrade just to have a basline, and my best is 4.17 (without roll) and 3.91 (with 1" Roll). with DRAGY
My best distance to cover 0-60mph is 188.81 ft. This is another good parameter to see at .

Remove the battery to lighten it up and maybe 94octane to give it some boost?

There’s a 1.7degree slop difference in our times. I know I can do it. I’ve been hiking up ski mountains to prepare!

Has it been determined if Mid Range RWD M3s are eligible for the upgrade? Or even better is the upgrade automatic if FSD has already been paid for?

Only the AWD (Dual Motor) is eligible and the Performance upgrade is unrelated to FSD.

This may already have been answered (I couldn't find it), but what about cars ordered AFTER the boost was announced? I just ordered a LR model yesterday. Will the boost be incorporated in the new car, or will I still have to pay for it extra?
