Any US Model 3 Performance deliveries in 2019?

January 28th order for Performance Model 3. Was originally assigned a 2018 model, requested 2019 model. Currently still waiting.

Been offered a 2018 with free white interior upgrade, but I lose my supercharging free for 6/9 months, and an extra $2k off. I agreed but now that has gone quiet. Now I am back to waiting for a vehicle. I believe CA is getting the lion share of vehicles...

So month and a half wait so far, no end in sight right now.

On my order page on Tesla's website, I've had Registration, Insurance, Trade, and Payment sections since I placed the order. Filled out Registration and Insurance immediately. Overnight last night the Registration section disappeared..does this mean anything for order progress?

So whoa Nellie- just had an email conversation with my delivery specialist. She said there will be a $2500 charge for home delivery, despite the fact I'm located over 200 miles from nearest SC. Has anyone else encountered this with a Model 3? My X was delivered free of charge last March and then flatbedded to SC free of charge as well (and back).

I have not, was thinking to ask the question though. We are about 190 miles out, so we are thinking to just drive and pick it up.

So are they saying an additional $2,500 for delivery and this is on top of the 1,200 destination charge?

Well that sucks!!!

I cleared it up with my delivery specialist. As I thought- there is NO home delivery fee:

Hey Mr. Nichols,

I just wanted to let you know that I was able to get in touch with the team that will be setting up your carrier direct. The specialist that will be reaching out to you is XXXXXXX, he will help to coordinate you home delivery. I would also like to apologize for the wrong information given to you earlier, there will be not charge to you for the delivery in your vehicle seeing that the vehicle will be delivered in region. My apologies for the mistake. XXXXXXXX will be reaching out to you shortly to inform you of the next steps to your delivery.

Thank you,

That's great! Sorry to hear that you had to go through all of that though

Just got a phone call from Tesla. So they could not deliver my car, as the factory had forgotten to put some tire stickers. They had switched my VIN (changed car), but when they checked, the other car also didn't have the stickers. So now I'll need to wait till next week. Oh well. But at least I found out that the car came out of the factory on 3/9.

Very sorry to hear about your issues as well. These are cool cars, but man this company...I just don't know.

Yea. But I guess I can wait since I've waited from the end of January. And then I'll need to wait again as the car will go straight into a shop for PPF. It'll just give me a few more days to enjoy my Mini.
Think your roller coaster ride on the home delivery fee is worse ...
