The product specialists mentioned that all California Model S would all be shipped from the factory with the license plate fixture stuck on as shown. The reason they gave was that the vehicle was tested with the license plate, so it ships with it attached.
That's my local Tesla store. I see Connor in the background. He is awesome and that location is where I will pick my model s up. Are you picking up there as well?

From February 9, 2012 to December 31, 2015. There are plenty of posts on the forum about my teenage VIN Model X. The X helps me appreciate the wonderful improvements to the new refreshed Model S. The LED headlights, air filter and console are excellent.
Dang that's a long time. Well I guess I will stop complaining about my 6 week timeline I just want my damn car. Haha I just heard about the SC at the Buena Park location. Thanks for the info. Cheers and I will prob see you there one day!

Ordered week before refresh and lucky enuf to be getting the refresh

Here in Hong Kong delivery scheduled for June/early July

DS said car has already been produced and just waiting for shipping

Got a midnight silver 90D with silver 21"

Can't wait! but still struggling to sell my 09 S4 Avant w/ only 45k clicks despite dropping the price to only about 20% of new...

A coworker of my wife's has the refreshed S in the same color as ours (and parks beside ours). Sadly, she really likes the redesigned front and lights. I love the idea of the HEPA filter and the new lights. They released the refresh before our car even turned 1 month (which I assume happened to a lot of people as well).

Curious what the cost of selling the "old" to get into the refreshed look would be.
A friend just went to buy a new P90 yesterday at the Buena Park SC and found a new Pre-facelift that met his specs and all Tesla offered was about $5,000 off from new facelift, so he went new.

He told me that it would have had to be closer to $9,000 to $11,000 difference to sway him, which is what it would take to sway me. If you want to do it, I'd act fast before the new models become "the look", which they will. I'd upgrade if I could:(.

Does anyone have any more pictures of the midnight silver metallic MS redesign? That's the one I have on order and I'm SO EXCITED, just want to see whether I like the new design or not... Saw 1 earlier in this thread, but doesn't reveal much.

I have been in the "order confirmed" state for two weeks after my 7 day window ended in late April. Still says late May/June delivery. I email my DS and he replied my car isn't in production yet, should be a mid to late June delivery. But my tesla site still reads late May/June.

I put down my $2500 on 3-29-15, confirmed (7 day window) on 4-5-16, and my car just now went into production (I got an e-mail last night and confirmed with my delivery specialist this morning). I live on the west coast (Washington) and expect to have my car by the end of the month or the first week of June.

I would say that your DS is correct and you will likely be looking at a mid to late June delivery. I think I've seen that Florida deliveries take longer than west coast given you are on the other side of the country.

Did you get an email confirming it has entered production?

I received the email on 4/28 that my car entered production, and noticed over this past weekend that the delivery window changed from Late May - June to May 19th - June 2nd. Although it still shows that it's in production, my DS told me that my MS "is complete at the factory yet we're still waiting for it to enter transport".

Wow the frunk is small. I'm liking my non-AP "classic" more and more. I need every inch of space with a family of 5 plus a dog and lots of trips to my cabin. The new front end sure looks nice though.

There are quite a few that are $7,500+ off. The most being $10,800. There are some that are S90D, S85D, P85D, & P90D. Here are a few screen shots showing the discount.

Since mileage has been brought up, Here is a list of cars with only 50 miles on the odometer that have been discounted.. Some nice ones in there that have likely never been driven!

I will say that after looking at all the data, the cars with the biggest discount tend to be located in Florida. There are some others scattered around though. Perhaps they thought Florida sales would be higher?
