Anyone refunded?

    I'd been driving an S for a bit over a year when the 3 was officially announced. I liked the S so much I ordered a 3.

    But a few months ago I decided to cancel the 3 and trade my S for a new S so I could get the V2 hardware sooner and still have the unlimited supercharging.

    I cancelled in late November and ever since when I've logged on to My Tesla it showed my S and the 3 but the section on the 3 included a note that the cancellation had been received and was being processed.

    That changed a few hours ago when My Tesla started showing my s but no mention of the 3.

    So now I'm wondering how the refund will be handled (I'd tried to apply it to the new S but they could not do that).

    Has anyone here done something similar and if so how was the refund handled?

    My X reservation was refunded within 6 weeks.

    How did they handle the refund? Snail mail a check? Credit to credit card?

    Was a check delivered by snail.

    Thanks. Since I'd made the deposit with credit card I thought they might refund that way.

    I guess I'll find out for sure in a few days. :)

    I was told that they would do that only within a certain amount of time. For me, it had been about a year since I reserved.

    Just found out today. Credit to my credit card just showed up.

    Now if 8.1 would just show up in my car. :)
