My current model 3 I went overboard with the accessories and even doubled up on some items probably due to the excitement. But this time around I will only be ordering the necessary items like All-weather floor mats and center console inserts.

I’m no expert but they do seem to factor in extra cars, but also like to keep the unsold stock levels lean.
Hopefully being a refreshed model there is a quantity of spare stock

we were going to buy a used Tesla Certified Model 3 P but someone beat us to it yesterday before my appointment to inspect it this morning so now we are going refresh LR, Ultra red and white. Was kind of hoping they might sneak some Tesla stock cars in to early shipments rather than wait the who knows how many months for an order to arrive.

Anyone know how many are actually on order?

So reading that, boat arrived 14th Dec, email went out on the 15th to schedule collection on 23rd.
A lot quicker than I was expecting.

So BA docks in Brisbane on Monday, assume Tueday email will arrive to schedule collection for Wednesday 27th?

So apparently there was only about 60 RWD and 60 LR on BA for MEL, so definitely a very small shipment.

I wonder how they determined which orders got fullfilled? Likely Tesla staff then maybe oldest orders that matched available configuration?
I guess ultimately it doesn’t really matter, hopefully we get some good news in the next few days and we can live vicariously through the guys with delivery dates
