Is that typical? Or do they only notify when you're very close to delivery day?

The final invoice was in the documents on the day I got the VIN assigned. No notification about it. I did get a notification that a VIN had been assigned to me

To those registering in NSW: how is your rego papers coming along?

I am having a bit of drama here. Tesla's original rego paperwork instructions I felt were wrong. They want me to fill in MY OWN details as the "authorized representative".

I made the initiative to fill in correctly (to the best of my understanding), based on the succesful registration of my first Model 3 in 2022, but Tesla just rejected my paperwork.

Anyone else having this drama? It's Page 3 of the form. "Complete this to authorise another person to register a vehicle in your name". My understanding is, we (the buyer/owner) sign the top half, authorizing another person (Tesla's staff) to register the car on our behalf, and therefore the details of THAT Tesla's staff should be filled in at the bottom, not our (the buyer/owner).

UPDATE: spoke to a Tesla staff, in short: their instructions are correct, even though they admit it was counter-intuitive, but that's what Service NSW wants *shrugs* so... I still haven't got my car yet but consider this a false alarm, sorry about that.

Turandot that carries M3P to Melbourne has docked.
How long usually between when the vessel dock and Tesla setting the appointment time?

I know my car was on the Walrus Ace and that docked on the evening of the 23rd and I got a request to make an appointment the next day, Picking up this Saturday

Mercury Ace carrying a variety of 3 and Y has docked in Singapore to onload the cars that had a layover there. We should see it reach Aussie in 2-3 weeks as it circumnavigates anticlockwise.

Mercury Ace now departed from Singapore, heading to Thailand. It looks like the MOL-ACE itinerary doesn't show the leg between Singapore and Thailand so it made the ETD of July 5 confusing. My guess is it'll depart Thailand on its Australia-bound voyage on the 5th.

when did you order?

There’s quite a few M3P that arrived in Turandot last Thursday. I’m guessing there’s a few spare coming as they show in the inventory, if that’s so you won’t even have to wait that long
