Is there a general consensus as to whether we think there are any M3H’s on the Don Juan considering there’s been no update re VINs or ETAs?
I still have it as most likely, the VIN's in other examples came 3 days after the ship left port, and I know of others that came much later, some earlier so I don't think we can put too much stock in that alone.

Did you also look into the polestar?
I was drawn to an EV because of the Polestar 2, had my heart set on that 😂

But drove a polestar and then a model 3 performance and the Tesla won over due to the size of the cabin (polestar is very cramped and no visibility) and the software of the centre screen (google OS is just not quite there yet, very slow)

Polestar has a much better frunk.
And the BYD Seal has a nicer thunk.
But only the new model 3 can be called a spunk.
And still drive you home when you get too drunk.
A bit like my wife, but without all the chunk,
My Tesla won't leave me for any old hunk.
Polestar and Atto, just pieces of junk.
Invest all your coin and watch it get sunk.

I was thinking about getting the BYD Seal, loved the interior and look. Main downsides were, no built in Cameras all around vehicle like Tesla, slower charge speeds, interior touch screen and layout felt like a yum cha tablet not as snappy and smooth as Tesla, and the fact you need to get scheduled servicing for an EV turned me off. Oh, and if anyone asks what car you have "I own a Build Your Dreams Seal" 🤨

Yes the BYD Seal is appealing in most aspects except for explaining to everyone that you own a Chinese sea creature car.

I’ve just watched reviews of BYD seal and polestar 2.
I haven’t been in them in person, but here’s my thoughts.

BYD seal seems like a good concept, but needs maturity. The interface seems slow and the car seems to be suited to urban commute. Pros and cons of each variant but unless 0-100 time is the sole reason you are buying it, the compromises are worth taking into account. I don’t drive fast all the time so maybe it’s not for me. Slower charging too. I’m not a fan of the look.

Polestar 2 looks better, but android operating system is a show stopping big red flag for me. You’d need to go the rwd long range to be practical but the price is getting up there. Viability looks poor.

Both have indicator and wiper stalks.

Hurry up Don Juan and put me out of my misery

Don Juan is powering on - traveling at a sprightly 18kn. She's sitting about 1.5m lower in the water than when she was empty on the way north to Shanghai.

Today's factoid: Don Juan has space for 5,846 cars. The standard measure used for a car space is known as RT 43 and is 7.38975 sqm. It's named after the RT43 Toyota Corona:
