It happens for your first Tesla. I ended up ordering a whole bunch of stuff some duplicates for my first Tesla that I never ended up using and just sold it or gave it away in the midst of all the excitement. Second time around and I just ordered the things I really needed like floor mats, door...

That's a nice upgrade from my one but I can't see myself needing more than this one I have now for the time being.

Nope its corded, powerful enough for my needs since the car is ceramic coated helps quite a bit the water just rolls off. I'll upload a video on Sunday if the weather is good.

I ended up buying this attachment which makes cleaning a little easier with the hose and strap but have yet to try due to the rainy weather. If it clears up this weekend will give her a whirl. Bigboi Buddi Hose Pack BLOWRBUDDIPCK | eBay

Anyone here know if the wiper blades for the M3H are the same as the previous model M3? Can't find any info online.

Ovo has been good to me since switching from Red Energy. This was my usage from March with using the 11-2 charging time mostly but have used the 12-6am 8c a few times too. I could save another 5% if I enable bill smoothing but with that you would need to prepay and I prefer postpay.

How good is their website as well, it shows updates every hour as long as you have a smart meter. I used 26.74kw this day and was only charged 20 cents.

I recommend anyone who is not on the OVO EV Plan to get on it. Charge your car for free every day between 11am and 2pm (helps if you work from home), still get decent Feed in Tarriff of 8c/kw and also you are only charged 8c/kw between 12am-6am if you want to charge between those times makes it...

Blowing the water off also gets in the cracks and crevices where drying with a towel won't get to. My big boi buddi jnr with the hose attachment makes it a breeze especially since my car is ceramic coated and I use a wash n wax car wash on top of that.
  17. TE5L4

Australian Model 3 Highland experiences, tips, tricks

Definitely is and because your car is ceramic coated the water should just slide off the car. I wouldn't recommend using a blower to dry your car if it wasn't properly ceramic coated or treated with wax as it would make drying the car much harder.

I had a similar issue where the noise was coming from the drivers side seat back area more like a creak/knock sound at times and when you pushed down on it. Mobile tech came out, pulled the back of the seat off and found it was some metal parts rubbing/tapping against the fabric and plastic area...

Got my car ceramic coated which doesn't make it immune to dirt but it does make cleaning a hell of a lot easier. At the end of a wash I just use my bigboi blower to dry the car the water just beads off and I never have water spots. Great product, more powerful and easier to use than my leaf...

All my mates who drive ICE cars who don't want to make the switch to EV always say 'mate, your car drives itself so even if you have a long commute you can just take a nap in the car or do some work on the laptop' haha

If only they could get the 3D Vision to be sharper and less blob looking it would be awesome. I mostly still use my mirrors and rear camera when parking the car though as a force of habit.

Looks like it could restrict airflow a bit though, especially if it gets clogged up with dirt/guts on those tiny mesh holes. Solutions for leaves and bugs could cause a bigger issue to the cooling system working overdrive to cool down important parts of the car? Just a thought..

I had matte on my old model 3 and got used to it.. Only now just realizing on my M3H how much clearer it is with the normal non-matte ones. Obviously, you still have that mirror like reflection but the matte ones make it blurry and much harder to see on an angle.

Do they have a more subtle option coming? I don't want my Tesla to look like i'm trying too hard to make it a 'race' car.

A spare is always good, but in my experience not needed unless you live remote. $20 for peace of mind is a no brainer and they apparently reduce fingerprints so for the cost I reckon its worth it. Better to have it and not need than need it and not have it right?
  34. TE5L4

    Australian Model 3 highland accessories

Yep, my previous model 3 I had the matte ones but it takes away the crisp image and things look dull so I went with clear ones this time around.

Yeah its the old school UMC I got with my first Tesla. The holder I just ordered online, I think EBAY or Aliexpress can't remember and just fitted that myself. I would just go with the 32A 5 pin socket, it won't cost you less to go with 3 pin single phase so why would you.
