I feel like we've got some positive wind behind us. Germany coming online and China potential expansion I'm really hoping there is a push for strong for delivery prior to the end of the FY as well. Might be some numbers there chasing to grab headlines in the media

The fiscal year in the USA is October to September. I don't think pressure from the Australian branch office will mean squat. Hope I'm wrong...

Same, the wife has been trying to get me to sell old car so that we don't have too many cars at home, good thing I didn't listen, I'll probably keep old car until I accept delivery

Some yes, but the majority like us are waiting. Expect the car in May as next production for Australia starts 1 April.

Ordered M3 LR Black:Black 26 Jan.... i am in the 14-20 week wait group however with the amount of LR being delivered am i doomed to be pushed into the 5-7 month wait group.... i hope not....

I ordered LR 9th December in the 8-12 week window, by time I'll receive it, it will be the 5-7 month window instead.

I jumped on to the UK site to see if they they have any lead-time changes due to Germany (Model Y May 2022). Noticed the M3 shipping was November 2022... I died a little on the inside.

Might be useful to know: Spoke with the Tesla rep earlier today on the price increase, and yes as people has said here if you have put in your deposit, you will not get a price increase - Unless you change your order (e.g. change the colour, trim, etc). Then you will get charge.

So if I change my order from a White RWD to a Blue, I would have to chuck in an extra $2,500 as opposed to $1,500 before.

I think you should order both the RWD and Long range. Drive the RWD when it arrives until your LR gets here then sell the RWD at a profit

Wow im starting to think i got no hope of getting it in May then unless the next Q2 shipment has alot more LRs then the Q1 shipment.

because you are going to pay $1500 for blue paint, and the $1000 increase.
