Sorry. Wrong place to ask but I can’t find the right place. Using these forums on my phone is a bit hit and miss. Just keeping in the Australian forums is hard!!

Anyone in PERTH can you please answer as I’ve yet to sit in an M3. The upper door panel inside, above the armrest, where you put your elbow, is it hard scratchy plastic, or is there a bit of swigginess there? A bit of padding? I must find one to sit in one day.

Hi @RodDavies, I'm in Perth but unfortunately didn't pay too much attention to the feel of the door panel when on test drives

But.... surely owners in other states could help you with this question, seeing as we all get the same cars ?? (no snark intended, BTW)

Would like to thank all the community members for sharing valuable information and suggestions. Not a frequent poster but regularly follow all the posts.

Need a suggestion regarding my order. M3 RWD | MSM | Black | 5 seats | Ordered 14/3/22 | VIN - No

I have been waiting to put in my loan application as my EDD says Aug to Nov, my OD was on 14/3 original EDD 5-7 months. Luckily bought it just a day before the price increases and EDD also moved to to 6-9 month.

Have been postponing the loan application thinking that would expire if I apply it early but because of that need to pay higher interest rates now. But thinking to apply immediately before the interest rate goes further up and will be able to lock the price 6 months, just worried what chances of me getting an invoice within the next 6 months ?

Macquarie and Pepper are 4.99%, any suggestions about the best interest rate available at present ?

It's the same vegan leather as the steering wheel so it has a "soft" feel, and it has padding however it's firm rather than cushy.

I can confirm it’s sort of squishy, but I have my seat on lowest position so both arms are resting at the same height, plus it’s more comfortable while using fsd.

Drove a Y last week. I assume the arm tests are similar. It was super plush and comfy in both seats.

Are you too far away from Osborne Park to go for a test drive? I had a Mitsubishi Outlander on order and went to test drive a Tesla at ozzy park for the experience... Ordered my M3 that day and cancelled the outlander order

In case anyone is interested, I checked with my accountant, who confirmed that my business can buy the Tesla outright, even if for mostly personal use, claim it all as an expense, claim back the GST as input tax credits, no FBT to pay. Also applies to charging, accessories, on road costs, insurance etc. This effectively halves the cost of the car! No need to go through a lease or pay interest on a lease.

I have been following for awhile, was after my car wasn’t delivered on time, Ed was 8 to 12 weeks waited another 6 weeks 2 days, I was one of the lucky ones!
Ordered on the 16/11/21 ship arrived PK 08/03/22 invoice 10/02/22 build and compliance date was 09/02/22 was sent an sms 17/03/22 to book a pickup on the 24/03/22. W/B LR in Melbourne.
Was late because of the Chinese New Year, covid lockdown and flooding in NSW. That was my guess anyway

Lucky! Had you ordered 20 days later you still would have been in here waiting with us despite having the same EDD.

I managed to lock in my interest rate to 3.99% this week (started the formal process before they increased rates). It's a plan B as I think the new Labor government EV policy with FBT exemption for EV's will make a Novated lease more worth it for me, however I know my leasing company that I have to go through charge rediculous broker and finance establishment fees for something like a 10% interest rate.

Still - all payments being pretax will probably still make it worth it..
