My EDD of 11-21 August has been removed from my login page along with my payment overview and bank payment details. The VIN had also gone from source code! I never received an invoice or a text message.
My login page has returned to Aug-Oct EDD.

Vin is today, built date should be yesterday or today after factory shut down from last Friday

Yes you can transfer money in bit sized amounts to ensure it appears in your Tesla account. I did this last year when buying a 3 as was nervous about getting scammed. It takes about 24 hours after you transfer money for it to appear in your Tesla account.

And note also that the account you pay into should be very closely related to your RN order number.

And if you Google the VIN you should get additional comfort.
