I kind of agree but disagree at the same time.

Tesla's overall communication is pretty piss poor, you've got to come to places like this for more information then what any rep can give you.

At the same time, no other car manufacturer in the current market can give you a decent ETA or solid up to date information
I’m on board with this position to a point. All manufacturers have crazy waiting times due to things outside of their control.

What makes me cranky though is when Tesla SAs don’t answer emails with simple queries for weeks and weeks (or ever). That stuff is within their control.

Well Tesla in China has delivery specialist who has a lot more insights than sa. Unfortunately we don't have that luxury.

This was an issue even when they had "1-4 Weeks" EDD and new M3s in stock (yes, you could shop their website for cars that they had sitting in their showrooms in Australia) back in October 2021.

Telsa needs a post delivery survey of customers with a "I would recommend my SA to others" 0-10 question to start to measure and manage the issue.

Sounds like a great idea but it will never happen. Tesla pay the SA’s peanuts before a fully automated system is in place to replace. Tesla already know what they are getting from their SA’s and definitely don’t need customer feedback to tell them this.

Ordered an M3P 28/4 after a mate took me for a drive in his M3 (he hasnt shut up about it since he got it Oct last year).
Admittedly, I didn't understand it till I experienced it and then I got it.. up until then I thought hybrids were the way forward for next few years.
Anyway, on the SA experience, mine was responsive with my query last month. Suggest maybe they’ve got some tasks on the go now with some cars on the way.
In any case, whether I’m waiting for a VIN or a response from an SA.. patience is the virtue.

is there another hidden compartment for invoices?

Look, I'm not super interested in a back and forth, this is a waiting room. If someone asks a question within my realm of expertise I'm going to give them an answer.

As long as this thread is filled with talk of forklifts, factory shutdown speculation, wall chargers, finance rates and accessories, its pretty hard to object to an element of financing (novated leases). Logically disingenuous to claim its not on topic.

And far as I can tell, you aren't a mod, so kindly refrain from telling me what I can and can't do while doing whatever you want.

It is a waiting room, so the discussion is naturally topics about things people do when they wait for their car (finance, insurance, accessories, VINs, forklifts), so it all seems fitting.

100% this. It rubs me so much the wrong way when people get upset about their $64K+ car is taking longer to arrive then they'd like. Completely missing that they can afford a car of that value, while there are people struggling to put food on their family's plate in this very country in their very cities right now.
 
Not sure if all you “waiters” have seen this, it’s the latest update from Armacup showing shipping movement after the restart of 8th August.
Looks like there’s plenty of carriers available on 14th, 19th and 20th coming to Oz, and with last one arriving on 13th September I could live with that.

Completely missing that they can afford a car of that value, while there are people struggling to put food on their family's plate in this very country in their very cities right now.
eh moving to EV is saving me about $25K over 5yrs allowing me to put food on the table instead of buying fuel, it's far from a luxury choice for me
