The removal of ultrasonic sensor. Tesla removed from Oct the 3rd from Us, Eu and Taiwan market only. Even if it was removed from your car that would be removed in September sometime?

Ok so I’m guessing I’m not the only one thinking this could be a troll. So, let’s start with the following info:
- what colour and wheels spec did you order?
- interior colour?
- when did you receive notification the vehicle had been assigned?
- how did you go arranging your pick up time? Any hassles with Tesla?
Oh and feel free to post a photo of doing just that?

No…. I don’t think so. “I don’t know the details“? Right. If I’d just picked up my car today, I wouldn’t be wasting time joining this group for a start. Sensors removed? Sure, the day after they’ve announced the plan to drop them? Car would’ve had to be built at least 6 weeks ago, and apparently our builds aren’t mentioned anyway. Troll.

Mine needs repairs and is due for rego next week. I refuse to put more money in it, so we are selling it and will just go without a car for a while.Yeah, sympathise with you. I intend to scap my car as well, but since my March 12 order, 2 tyres, a new battery and now a hole in the muffler that makes the local young guys envious.. I will not reregister in December no matter what! Stupid I know but that's where I am at

Just a number of people still waiting who ordered before March are getting a little concerned over their orders.
If you happened to take a picture at Miranda when you took delivery, we would all love to see it.
Also please don't post identifying information like a full VIN.

Hi Bob, it's a fairly standard practice in this group to add your vehicle details (vehicle type, EDD, build date, last numbers of your VIN, invoice date) in your signature block.
This might help all the questions being fired at you.
Finally picked up my Model 3 LR after being contacted by Tesla last week Wednesday 4pm. Must have been a cancelled order. Was a headache sorting it all out through my novated leasing company, but luckily I had started the process a few weeks ago! Ordered March 29 (with estimated delivery 6-9 months).

@Bob Ryder dont mind the suspicion as your claim is rather out of the box, we do however suspect your interpretation of no ultrasonics might be flawed and you just did not have the configuration set to warn you. You can easily clear up that confusion by taking a photo of your car bumper where the ultrasonic sensors usually are and posting the photo here, if they are missing it will be visible straight up and should clear the confusion. I would love to see the look of it without the sensors and would also like to know if those cars will then have better cameras, as the current cameras on my current Model 3 are very useless in the dark so without ultrasonics you would get no information on your surroundings if there is no light besides what your front headlights can light up.

Can anyone correct me if im wrong, since us late jan/feb orders havent received any vins yet the next ship to come our way other than crystal that left on the 5th(which is now a write-off for us) is passama leaving on the 11/10 and don juan 24/10. Which will arrive at port kembla on 5/11 and 10/11 respectively. So if we dont receive any vin between now and 24/10 we wont get our cars in november its gunna stretch till december. So our time frame aug-nov is not achievable unless we receive vins in the next 2 weeks.
My advice is not to put too much of your attention on the EDD (think about those Jan orders with 4-6 weeks EDD). I am sure your car will be here before THIS Christmas.
Tesla really has to improve the pre-delivery experience though. In China, Tesla has dedicated pre-delivery specialists with who you can chat anytime regarding the Order (though not too useful either but better than nothing).

Ordered regular model 3 in march 2022 but man, still waiting and can't figure out when / which ship they all coming on. Thought last shipment to Aus was definitely us... Nope lol any updates or info be greatly appreciated
