Unlike in USA, here you can't transfer orders except to immediate family. So your only option is to cancel it and let it go to the next person in the queue.

When did you receive the final invoice after the registration form, I have received registration form but no invoice yet.

I got an email to sign and send the Rego Form, after doing that I got an email that my final invoice is ready.

My loan has settled and the loan company advised me that I should send the confirmation of loan settlement to the dealership/vendor. I doubt if I need to do this as Tesla doesn't even have a contact for me to send it off. Am I correct?

Tesla won't care so long as they receive the funds at least 48h before your pick up date.

If your delivery date is closer than that (eg tomorrow or Friday) then you should reply back to Tesla via SMS and ask if they want you to send the remittance advice anywhere.

Going back to the topic of insurance - I went and got a new quote with Budget Direct for the MYLR. Price has jumped from $1214 to $2062 per annum. Think I’m going with GIO Platinum unless that has jumped to crazy levels too.

Just checked GIO Platinum for my case, its 3.9k/year. That's so expensive. Cheapest I've found is AAMI and Allianz (about 2.2k/year).

No Vin, havent got the final invoice and cant find the Vin in page source. Despite me getting emails saying the car is in Australia.

I just signed up with GIO Platinum for $2362/year. Had to increase the voluntary excess to $400 to get that price so that’s $1645 excess I believe.

I got a heap of quotes a couple of weeks ago, and then did them again this week, and prices have pretty much gone up 20% across the board.
